We had a great Father's Day celebration this past Sunday. The specials were delicious, and the drinks were amazing too. I continue to choose this restaurant for any special occasions.
My wife and I wanted to try something different for our 6 year anniversary. We came this morning to eat brunch since the restaurant had great reviews. But for our experience it hasnt a great service. I had a reservation for 10:45. The host ended up great us and took us to our table outside. We got sat down and waited 12 min for our server to greet us. Took our order and left, she did not check on us until she brought our dishes. I was waiting for water refill. She brought the food and didn't check back un us until we were finished, i had to grab another server to ask for water and a side of butter. To try to celebrate our anniversary with you, i was a little disappointed. I don't think i would come back.
Service was lackluster spent most of evening looking for out server. They are extremely low staffed. Beautiful place but apparently no one there pays attention to anything. Very slack but the food was better than I remembered.
Somewhat overpriced for mediocre food and just ok service. Should be better overall for location and being the premier restaurant at Elon University. The bar is beautiful and if you go, go for drinks and appetizers. Not for the dining experience.
The food was ok - a good burger, shrimp cocktail and shrimp and grits. The Caesar salad wasn't great and the she crab soup lacked flavor. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Good service.
The menu was small, and we were excited about the short rib dish. It was okay, but for the price, it was not worth it. It had a cafeteria food quality to it. The server came out to greet us, take the order, drop the food, and drop the check. She did not check in or offer refills. This was an anniversary splurge meal that we were hoping would have been a bit more special. We know for next time,
My Mom wanted to take me out for my birthday. So, I chose The Mark, a place we haven't been before. I wanted a fine dining place and it was just that. Thankyou for a wonderful time
We had Easter brunch at the Mark. The restaurant was very accommodating. The service and food were both excellent. I would return.
Our first time at the Mark. We had Easter brunch here and it was fabulous. Our server, Emma, was super friendly and attentive. The food was very good and the portions were generous.

We always enjoy our dinners here this was the first time having brunch and it was just was delicious. Service is always top notch.
Outstanding dinner this evening right before seeing the US Navy band play in the Elon Alumni auditorium. Try the butternut squash ravioli with sage and brown butter and capers... It's awesome!
The service and the food at this restaurant are wonderful! I highly recommend it as a local choice for fresh food ingredients and a creative menu.
Went there for our girlfriends Christmas celebration. Be aware, they are Holiday neutral. That's what I was told by staff as to why no Christmas trees were in the place. Poinsettias, wreaths, red ribbons everywhere. If you're "Holiday" neutral, no decorations should have been displayed at all.
On a positive note. The staff was great. Food delicious. Just know that everything listed on the menu is not always available. That has been the case everytime I've been there.
Had reservations for Thanksgiving 2024. Arrived with plenty before reservation to wait behind a party of 3 that had called in earlier and was seated before us. We then had to wait to be seated per staff. Approximately 15 mins later, we were seated. It then took more than 15 more mins for someone to acknowledge us, receive menus and water. Another long wait, for wait staff to take our order, we were notified 2 of the listed side (mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes) were all gone and being substituted (mac & cheese and green beans). Our appetizers came out, 1 calamari and a salad - that was missing 3 of the missing listed components. Entrees came - prime rib was missing horseradish and was cold. The other was missing another side, due to being out of also. Spoke with manager and he stated it was a busy day. Odd, since reservations were "required". For desert, they were out of 3 of the listed, so we decided on bread pudding and souffle. Another long wait and waiter came out with 1 desert, bread pudding. Which was and end\corner cut and cold. The entire experience was terrible. Waiter Tom was great, it wasn't his fault management or lack thereof, doesn't know how to run a so called "up scale" restaurant.
