Great place. Traveling from Oklahoma and heard about this place. Super fresh ingredients, cool place, great owners.Tried three different beers and all were great.
Great beer and a friendly place for the community
Wonderful place a touch off the beaten path. The beers are excellent and the staff very kind.
Such a fantastic spot. The beer is amazing, along with the staff and the environment. It’d quickly become one of my favorite spots in WNC.
After a day of hiking around Dupont State Park, we were looking for a place to rest our feet and quench our thirst, and this brewery was a pleasant surprise. The staff was exceptionally friendly, offering to let us try samples before committing to a full glass. The beers weren’t your typical brews, which made it exciting to try something new. We opted to sit outside on the lovely covered deck, where we were treated to some great live music.
Take the time to walk around the grounds — they have a beautiful butterfly garden and bee hives that produce honey for their beers. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend others visit this hidden gem!
Awesome place. Good beer and the owners are so friendly. Definitely a must try!
We were there in July and had such a nice time. Glad to see they are helping so much with the relief efforts. Please support them in any way you can.
Enjoying a nice afternoon with fine brews & live music!
Recommend visiting this family owned brewery. Nice location to chill with the dog. The beers are great and you can grab a bite from local food truck. The family is very welcoming. Looking to go back for open mic with hubby. Wishing them success.
Nice atmosphere great setting service and customer set up. Great place to go and relax for a while

Had a great afternoon at Sideway Farm & Brewery today.! Amazing family friendly atmosphere, great selection of craft brews (dark to light, and everything in between) hard Kombucha, seltzer, a selection of local wines, and an endless variety of natural sodas. Jon, the brewmaster, knows what he is doing. Everything we tasted was excellent. And their variety can not be rivaled in the long run. I had a Lemongrass Blonde 2.1 (the second batch of the second beer he ever brewed at Sideways) today, and I also had a One Goat IPA 159 ( the 159th beer he has made). The One Goat had some kick, but was smooth too. Sideways Farm & Brewery is truly a family and community business. I talked a lot with Lou, the new owner. He’s been making home brews since the 80’s. And his daughter Jessica and her husband Weston were there too., taking care of a steady stream of customers with ease and professionalism. This place has everything my wife and I (and our two dogs) love about N Carolina’s craft brewery culture. Their personal standards of excellence show up in their amazing (and original) craft brews, and connection to community is unmatched as I saw many people come in who were friends and neighbors, and everyone else was treated as such. Definitely one of our new favorite hangouts when we’re in the Brevard area! Johnny, Jen, Sunshine & Roxy.
Sat at the bar for 15 minutes without any acknowledgment. It appears that maybe they only take orders if you’re “in line” but was not made clear if this how things work. I want this place to work but they often convey a feeling of elitism that just doesn’t fit the atmosphere. I’ll say give them a shot and I’ll try a couple more times but patience is wearing pretty thin with how they treat their customers.
Great venue very relaxed. Service was excellent and friendly. Beer was tasty as well.
I don’t love beer, but almost every beer from Sideways that I’ve tried I’ve LOVED! Great atmosphere & great owners :)
A great location for a brewery with lots of outdoor seating. If it's on tap I reccommend the Belgian Dubbel. Staff was very friendly and made sure I got samples before deciding on a bottle to take home.
