The food was good and was cooked to order. My husband had the philly cheesesteak special and said it was one of the better ones he has had. The staff is friendly. Place is clean. We will continue to stop in for breakfast and or lunch on our visits to the area.

Had high hopes for this place, but it didn’t deliver on anything. Found the restaurant dirty and the staff kind of rude. Food was sub par. Ordered the Big Bear breakfast sandwich with two over easy eggs and home fries. Eggs were overcooked, sausage gravy was flavorless and both the biscuits and home fries were dry. I don’t know, maybe it was a bad day for them, but I’ll never know because I won’t be back. Bummer

I have eaten here numerous times and it is good for any meal. I particularly like brunch. Food is good and portions are hearty.

The shrimp and grits was so perfectly seasoned with added fried green tomatoes and huge chunks of goat cheese. This is the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever eaten. Even the chocolate cake was delicious.

Wow! For a local joint (hence the name) the food was excellent, service awesome and the overall experience definitely a 5-star. Their biscuits are as good as they come, their gravy was tasty with just the right amount of heat and their breakfast sandwiches well worth every cent. Can’t say enough about this place and we just might return for breakfast in a day or two :)

We went in for the Friday fish fry. The fish was delicious! Served with fries and slaw. The service was friendly and efficient. We had a nice evening.
Parking: It’s next to a convenience store so you know how parking is like when that is attached. We had no problem parking.
Local joint is what is. Good food and service. Comfortable dinner atmosphere. We enjoyed it will be back.

Excellent food, four instead of five because we ordered sweet potato fries and received regular fries for our to go turkey sandwich which was bagged before we could notice it. Didn't read fine print about potato chips being home made and up charge for potato fries.
