I'm giving 5 stars for the service because we didn't want for anything but the person did have the personality of a fencepost. The food, however, was crazy good! I had the shrimp and grits and it was one of the best breakfast dishes I've had in years. My Sister had the Southern Benny and and also raved about it. Really, really flavorful and perfectly cooked. The complimentary beignet beginner was a nice touch, too.

What a pleasant surprise for a restaurant connected to a gas station. I had the shrimp and grits and my daughter had the french toast. Both dishes were amazing and delicious and the presentation was nice as well. I might have gotten a piece of coconut cake to go ?

It's like "Mel's Diner" from the past.Food was really good. Their Soy option substitute for meat, on a Reuben Sandwich was an extreme surprise. I really enjoyed it. I am cutting meat out of my diet to reduce my fat and cholesterol intake.

Another flawless meal here as always. I like the breakfast all day option, but did the Reuben today and it was very good. Sweet potato fries were perfect, too. Good waitress service & diner atmosphere also. I've never had to ask for a sweet tea refill because they ninja up on me & refill it all the time.

Served a burger tonight that still had the plastic wrapper stuffed in part of it. then the cook got sassy like I was wrong to be grossed out. Perhaps he was drinking too much of the beer they've started serving again.
Stopped by for the first time today, recommended by a friend that lives in the area.Our server was very friendly the service was excellent. I had a burger and fries cooked perfectly. My wife had the Turkey sandwich with sweet potato fries. The iced tea was fresh and sweet, just the way I like it.
