Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

I was searching for good burger in the Farmville, NC area. This was my only choice besides Burger King and I wasn’t disappointed as the meal was very good. My only complaint was the very small fries order that came with the combo. At this price, they should put a few more fries with the combo which be the reason they are not getting more customers.

I ordered online and it took 40 minutes to get it. Business was slow, so I'm not sure what took so long. The building was kind of gross as well. Multiple leaks from the ceiling, resulting in puddles on the floor. They didn't put out buckets or caution signs. It was very odd. I also noticed 2 full containers of cut oranges and lemons sitting out with no lid. Glad I didn't order an orangeade! I sincerely hope these issues are resolved and this restaurant can be restored.

Order a salad and the cucumbers where frozen or translucent anyway no good and they said they where not my tenders where way over cooked . But our server Zayda was wonderful kinda felt sorry for her all of our food was not up to the Hwy 55 standard and there was 6 of us so that’s means it was a 100.00 bill . And it was no where worth it.

The food was nasty. The fries were NOT freshly cooked even though I was told they were. I had only placed my order 5 -6 minutes prior to them bringing my food out. Sent my burger back the first time cause it wasn't cooked enough.I will not be returning. Every time I come the food is mediocre but today it was just plain nasty as hell and then this one chic in particular act like she had an attitude cause food wasn't satisfactory. I wasted &12. I've decided to leave my name. It's Vickie

Food was good. They seemed short handed, the three employees were busy. Only 3 stars because our waiter said they didn't have ice cream. He forgot to make it. ????

I’ve been going to this place for 10+ years, I literally even met my wife there. Every time I’ve called in the past couple years it gets worse and worse. Not sure who took over ownership of this place but they have no idea how too run a business. Absolutely horrible. I was okay with having too pay over the phone too call in an order, understandable. Some people may not show up too get their order or pay for their food. But even then every time I’ve been recently my food has been wrong or just plain horrible quality. But why would I call in an order too be told They won’t make my food until I get there and pay in person. I have very fond memories of this establishment over the years but now, They might as well just close it down. Nothing but disappointment every time I call or leave the place. Absolutely horrible. Would not recommend, snow hill, Wilson, or Farmville NC. Can’t speak for any of the other ones. If you’re around this area tho, just go somewhere else. I get better customer service at McDonald’s for Christ sake.

I like this place but they didn't have everything on the menu . I wanted hotdogs and they didn't have any. They have good food and friendly staff.

They got our $30 but lost our business. My husband and I go here every couple of weeks and we each get a meal. Usually there's always something wrong but we can overlook it. This time, everything was disgusting. I got a regular cheeseburger meal. I couldn't even taste the meat over the taste of the stale rubbery bun. The fries were WAY undercooked. Like they just dipped potatoes into grease for 10 seconds and pulled them out. And the sweet tea was really off. The drinks got dumped out immediately and neither of us finished the meal. For almost $30 it's ridiculous. Might as well have just threw the money in the trash. I give up on this location. Never again.

Placed my order online food was ready once I got there. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the cook, and a young lady That was really nice. She asked me to sign my receipt as she walked away to grab my food, another lady walked from the back up to the register where I was signing my receipt, as I got done I made iContact with the young lady to give my receipt back but I didn’t notice the older lady reach out for my receipt without saying anything, not even greeting me. As I looked at her hand and looked at her face confused, she still said nothing. So I ease my hand towards hers, assuming she was “gesturing “ for my receipt , and she grabs my receipt still not saying anything. As I walked out, the young lady comes and says she will open the door for me as I said, she was very sweet although I didn’t understand why the older lady didn’t say a word I left three stars, instead of none on service because of the younger. I ordered a steak and cheese and it was bland. This is my second time giving them a shot and I was disappointed again. The fries are hard to go wrong as long as they are cooked completely and top with chili and cheese, so that was decent but again the cheesesteak was no flavor.
