What a very lovely place to stop and grab an ice cream cone and sit on the big front porch and just enjoy your Ice cream and the cool breeze blown across the porch. Service is great and the ice cream is delicious! I highly recommend the chocolate rasberry truffle.

Fantastic little restaurant and ice cream shop. Beautiful decor and super friendly staffing.The menu is short and simple, but the atmosphere elevates the experience. The outdoor seating options are fantastic. Can't say enough good things about Baabals, and highly recommend it to everyone.
So glad we visited this ice cream shop! It has been on our list since we moved to fletcher in 2019. I don't know why we haven't gone before but we will def be going again. I had some sort of butter bourbon ice cream. It was the best!!!!

Whenever I go to the Asheville area I have to take my granddaughters to Baabals. This is a family owned business with excellent food, wonderful staff and a lovely setting. They also have a sweet consignment shop on the top floor. From the wrap around porch to the lovely decor and food, this is a must do when visiting the Asheville area.

We walked in here on mother's day and we were the only people in there. The lady behind the ice cream counter didn't even greet us. As we approached her she walks to the back to the kitchen and flat out ignored us. We stood there for a while and looked at the ice creams and waited for her to return. After a whille we walked through the house and looked to see if we could find someone to help us we found her. She seemed really annoyed as we asked her for a menu. She just replied with the family is out of town and there is no one in the kitchen and walked away. I also had to use the bathroom and man that sink was so nasty. The house itself is very cluttered and doesn't seem to be the cleanest. I wonder if the health department even goes there. BY THE WAY! THE GIRL WORKING THERE WAS NOT IN THE RESTROOM LIKE THE OWNER REPLIED. SHE WAS STANDING RIGH BEHIND THE ICE CREAM COUNTER WHEN WE WALKED IN, WE APPROACHED HER AND SHE IGNORED US AND WALKED AWAY.
