One of the best hidden gems in Asheville. Sad to see it go.
My wife and I were in Ashville for the weekend and stopped in to have a beer. Great atmosphere, very clean and the beer was very good. Service was excellent. We will be returning on our next visit.
A big storm blew through which caused the live band to be moved into the outside area. My beer was good and cold. The band was great unfortunately the acoustics were terrible were I was sitting. I should have sat straight out from the band as it wasn’t as bad out there as it was bouncing back into the building area. The band was a little heavy into the guitars, which is fine. The band was mission impossible if I recall. A good band and they would’ve sounded very good out at the pole barn. I had actually been there for a couple who had turned 40. Unfortunately, a bad storm came in blowing in with thunder and lightning in the area with rain coming in sideways. The birthday party was to go to five but the storms came in right around that time and probably save the van from getting some of their equipment damage by the high winds that were blowing sideways through the area. the storm forced them in under the main area. It was no fault of the band or, the blue ghost brewing Company. It was just one of those storms that passed through the Asheville area from time to time.I believe this place gets looked over when anyone does any searches for micro brewery because they get sucked in to the Disney World of microbreweries Sierra Nevada down at Mills River, which is really only 5 miles away.Unfortunately, I’m sure this has been a hardship for this brewery company. I understand that they may be looking to sell, but I do not know any further details on that.It is kind of hard place to find, but it’s worth going to if you wanna try something different with a very laid-back atmosphere. DW Sierra Nevada pulls a lot of people in from the airport while they are waiting. This place is about the same distance may be a tad further from the airport but is not fancy what so ever and outsiders who don’t know the area may have some difficulties if they are somewhat challenged in using their GPS is on their phones and or cars.
An absolute gem in the Asheville craft beer scene and an easy hop from Sierra Nevada. My favorite this time was the limited release Where the Boat Leaves From - a delightful toasted coconut blonde ale. My husband chose an IPA flight and can’t decide between the Blue Ghost IPA and the Grapefruit IPA for his favorite. There is so much to love about what this brewery is up to! Their Hungry Ghost food truck was a delicious surprise and their firefly Biergarten is magical at twilight…
Always such a relaxed vibe! And dogs are allowed! Come hang out!
Big parking area and excellent beer
Love the beer and the hop yard! A very chill spot for us and our dog! We always go!
Thursday night trivia is a good time. Great beers and a good outdoor area too.
Stopped in to test out the local beers and have a bite to eat. The selection of beers is extensive. The bar and patio are simple, comfy and blend into the surrounding mountain region effortlessly. You feel at home and welcome the moment you step onto the property. There’s a selection of books and board games to invite gatherings and remind you to relax. A quaint and delicious stop not too far from the Blue Ridge parkway.I had the Brussels sprouts with my burger and beer and they were the best deliciousness I have eaten in a long time. My mind, my body and my heart were very happy.Highly recommend this stop in Fletcher. It is just what the Blue Ghost Firefly wants you to experience in these rolling hills parts of North Carolina.Did you know that the Blue Ghost Firefly is only found in these regions? How can you not visit this brewery and celebrate the Firefly’s rare existence with a hearty meal and cold, rich, tasty beer?
Always a great time! Beers are amazing and staff goes above and beyond expectations!

Great brewery! Food was excellent. Family friendly.
Great place to meet up with friends! Family friendly and great staff. Lots of fun listening to Steady State band. Food trucks and a large field for the all!
Great "little" place tucked in between Fletcher and the airport. Slip off for a quick snack a superb beer and forget your near the hustle and bustle while relaxing in the back yard under the trees and a Carolina blue sky. Worth the distraction from the main road.
It was like any other brewery on the south side of town. It could be anywhere in the US. The beer was good but again I wouldn't travel to get one. Good not memorable. Very nice staff.
Nice place for a beer or root beer is amazing. They usually have cool events and food trucks. All staff is great. We had a booth for Charlie’s angels today 10/21/23. Thank you for your warm hospitality.
