⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️SHOUTOUT to The Asheville Regional Airport Parking crew! ✈️🫶🏻❤️
Yesterday, I returned from a work trip, retrieved my car from the AVL airport lower lot, and headed home. When I got home, I discovered that I was missing an AirPod. I checked the “find my” app and quickly realized one AirPod was sitting in the lower lot where I had parked. I found a number to call the parking garage at the airport and was delighted when someone picked up right away. I wasn’t sure if the person on the other end of the phone would be open to helping me, and was so relieved when he not only agreed to go find it, but then quickly sent me a text with the image of my missing AirPod. So nice!!! I’m so grateful to Don for finding it for me and for being so willing to do so right away, especially since snow was in the forecast. He left it for me with the customer service desk. Today, I picked up my AirPod from another super nice person. I love my city, our region, and especially the fine folks of our sweet little airport. I don’t think this would happen so easily in a big city.

Avelo Airlines could be a possibility for the Asheville Regional Airport someday down the road.

AVL used to be a great regional airport. Easy through security, seating for flights…those were the good old days. My first time flying out of AVL in a long time and it will be the last until the construction is complete or maybe longer. We arrived the airport 2 hrs before boarding time as instructed on the website. I thought this was strange for a regional airport, but seeing some of the horror stories online I didn’t want to chance it. They were definitely prepared for lines, but lucky us, no line at security today. Then after security I realized no seats and people everywhere. Now what to do for 2 hrs…our flight arrived early from MSP only to wait on the tarmac for an hour waiting on a gate. Then the slowest boarding process ever. Oh yes, and all boarding is outside so bring your umbrellas and rain jacket if it’s raining outside. All in all a terrible experience and will likely result in missing our connection in MSP or at best a sprint to catch our flight. Advice is to use another airport. It will be worth the extra drive to avoid this hassle.

Waited in line at the check in for 45 minutes.
Went to the bar area to get a drink and the bar was full.
Not sure why they would have 1 waitress and 1 bartender!
I asked the bartender Marnie a question to see if I could purchase a drink standing at the end of the bar.
Her response was can you wait your turn in a condescending way!
Of course I would wait my turn!
I wasn’t trying to skip anyone just wanted to know if I could buy a drink there.
She then proceeds to yell at me across the room that you have to be seated in order to buy a drink.
Needless to say the experience here was truly horrible!!

Went in this morning and was super happy with my roll. And my service. There was only one lady working and I very much appreciate her for coming in to make my cinnamon roll fantasy come true lol thank you Ms Cantrell:)

I ordered a Cinnamon Roll cold brew and I was served bitter black coffee. When I mentioned that it looked nothing like the picture on the menu, I was directed to add cream. After adding sugar and cream, the coffee still tasted disgusting. One of the workers offered to add vanilla flavoring which did nothing for the taste. I immediately threw the coffee away. It was worst coffee I've ever had. I wished I'd purchased the Starbucks Frappuccino drink from the convenience store across from Cinnabon.

Went there early in the morning, didn’t see a sign with hours posted. Asked staff when the opening time was so I’d know when to come back but got multiple lazy replies like “we open when we turn on the lights.” Yeah, very helpful. Smells good but service is pretty piss poor. Didn’t bother staying or coming back

This Cinnabon is located right after you exit the security checkpoint. I bought a cup of coffee for $2.99. The cinnamon rolls looked really good, but the smallest option they offered was one large roll or four small ones. I wish they sold the tiny cinnamon rolls by singles. I really wanted one with my coffee, but that is just too much sugar for me, first thing in the morning.
This Cinnabon is located right after you exit the security checkpoint. I bought a cup of coffee for $2.99. The cinnamon rolls looked really good, but the smallest option they offered was one large roll or four small ones. I wish they sold the tiny cinnamon rolls by singles. I really wanted one with my coffee, but that is just too much sugar for me, first thing in the morning.
