Had the shrimp. While it was not as good as previous visits, it still beats chain restaurants. The shrimp were not de-veined, and it gave it an unusually fishy taste. Short staffing caused delays in service, but our server pushed through it and did the best she could. LOVE the hush puppies!
The shrimp basket was excellent, perfectly breaded and seasoned. Good tarter and cocktail sauce! Crab legs were good too! Made me feel like I was at the beach
Very friendly staff greeted me, seated me, took my order, and soon after promptly placed the food I ordered in front of me. I was in the mood for good seafood and I was not disappointed!
Went here on a Saturday about 2 PM should not have been busy at all. It was not the first thing I noticed when I walked in with the sticky floors. The AC didn’t seem to be working properly and it was mildly uncomfortable inside. I had to fish and chips which are pretty good, but I should’ve asked if the okra was made in house it was Only frozen store-bought frozen. I had high hopes but was very disappointed. They do had a good service food rating of 98.
Birthday dinner was off the hook!!!
This is the best seafood that I've ever eaten. The staff are exceptional, and the environment is welcoming!
My mom, daughter, and I dined here last night, and it was wonderful! It is a very kid friendly atmosphere and the food was delicious!

This joint is your typical dive seafood spot (read: fresh catches, shellfish, and fried stuff with a burger or two). They are decently priced and have a good beer/wine selection.
They lose a star as a dive, strip mall, seafood, bar because they can't figure out how to cook their crab legs. I've had them thrice now, and every time they over cook them. Which sounds pretentious of me to expect from a dive bar except... 1.) They are a seafood joint. 2.) If you overcook snowcrab, the crab leg shells no longer "crack" but they "crush", which ruines the meat and takes forever to eat your meal.
They would be 5 star for me if they would either just remove the crab legs from their menu, learn how to cook them, or use a different crab.
They would be 3 star except the prices are decent. Get what ya pay for yknow?
Go the low country boil.

Our first time at a restaurant since Helene hit. We live in Swannanoa and this was a treat. Surf N Brew is always good but today was extra special. They even had clam Wednesday! Sierra was an awesome server. We are so glad to see them open again.
