This place is fire! One of the few places that delivered their rating straight to your plate. With everything I have eaten today, they have not missed the mark with any of the food. This is cozy food.

This restaurant has always been a staple in Franklin. I am enjoying it even more since the new ownership menu is current and very good flavors coming out of the kitchen. A lot of the waitresses there have been there a long time and just know how to take care of you.

With a bit more attention to hospitality, this place has the potential to be truly great. On our most recent visit, the restaurant was fairly quiet, yet the service felt rushed and unwelcoming. A simple greeting when customers walk through the door goes a long way, and unfortunately we were met with visible stress rather than warmth. I do wish continued success for this charming spot, as a stronger focus on customer service could make a meaningful difference.

We love coming here! My husband and I have been on many occasions and the food, drinks, and service have been great. The carbonara is my favorite and my husband ops for the shrimp and steak scampi which is a great portion and well worth the cost. I should have wrote a review sooner, but tonight we had a slight issue with our food and I was really impressed by how quickly and well they handled it. And they never miss on their desserts/cakes, we’ve tried a variety and they have always been phenomenal.
First of all if you need to use the restroom you have to go to the gas station next door. Not convenient. The food that I got shrimp and grits was so so. Not remarkable for the price. I was not impressed by this place

We tried your establishment for the first time this past weekend and absolutely loved it. We look forward to many more trips in the future.

Usually we have a good experience at Cafe Rel, but the last 2 times were meh. Food was ok.. service was not so good. Hostess wasn't at door so we waited both times. First time she(the hostess) Seemed like we were bothering her, second time we waited, a waiter walked by us, like we were invisible, hostess came(same one) acted annoyed that she had to seat us. Noticed that all workers were in kitchen having fun and ignoring their jobs, throwing ice at each other or something? Not very professional or conducive to a positive experience . I will think twice about coming back... or get better help
