we have been going there for 7 + yrs. The last 4 times the food was not good. On 5/24/25. we had 5 ppl. 2 had shrimp/steak scampi. The steak had no flavor. The sandwiches 2 others had was bland. Other had livers, it was good but not excellent. Come on Caffe Rel please do better.

This was my late wife Wendy and my favorite place to eat, EVER!!!!! The food is unbelievably delicious and reasonably priced. We would change our route when going to Murphy or anywhere in the western NC area to dine there. Hope to get back one day soon!!!!’
We love Caffe Rel and eat there each time we visit Franklin. I have always said their crab bisque was the best anywhere. We were disappointed last night to find that everything we ordered including the soup eas over salted. We will go back and try again because this has always been so good.

Delightful service by Katie and we were not an easy group of 10 ladies with separate checks LOL Busy, busy restaurant and to die for gruyere & rosemary mac and cheese...All the desserts were amazing...and did I say, the service and friendliness was outstanding?

The balsamic dressing on a fresh salad was very rgood. I ordered a cup of crab bisque based on rave reviews and was quite disappointed. Very little crab flavor and honestly tasted and felt like melted cheese with garlic. The butternut squash special appetizer was delicious. I'd return but pass on the soup. Service was great.
Recommend desserts, especially Daisy Cakes when available!!

We have been going there for twenty years . We took three new friends and had the worst food it was so spicy our friend couldnt breath i thought we would have to call 911 . They took the food and gave them another one it was spicy but it was bad , so our friends took it home for there dogs a $30. 00 meal . I spoke to both owners and they would not do anything for us plus it took them two days to get back to us . Our friends left and went to Clayton Social and had a meal there . Please go to Clayton Social they treat you like gold . Plus the servicer lied to the owner and they believed her instead of the customer . They wont last They use to be the best restaurant around when Richard was alive . . Sorry that this happen with our new friends but they will not be going back
