The wait was short, the sandwiches were really good, buffalo mozzarella appetizer was excellent, and the desserts looked awesome with huge variety. Some of the cakes were a foot tall. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious.

Pleasantly surprised this time around. Everything was great. It's been a long time since we were here because of our last experience with cold food and lacking service. This time we were with another couple and all 4 meals were perfectly cooked. Service was good. Glad to have given them another chance and this experience will certainly have us coming back soon !!!!

Visiting Caffe Rel was one of the best experiences of our lives.. to say this is a hidden American gem is a direct understatement!! Sieve was an incredible and attentive server and the kitchen even accepted and exceeded our requests! We were more than pleased in every way. Even tho it’s next to a gas station the atmosphere would never let you know. If you enjoy fine French cuisine and don’t stop here you are doing yourself a true disservice. We will absolutely be back!!!!!

I originally gave a 1 star review for a bad menu faux paux. However that has since changed because the unprofessionalism behind the staff of the restaurant and attacking my husband or going through his place of business is retaliatory and illegal. He didn't write the review I did. I expected more professionalism. Still, don't offer a Pork Osso Bucco if it is not truly all pork.

So, Anne and I have had four meals at Cafe Rel in the last two weeks. I had my favorite, shrimp and grits. Blake made both meals and they were beyond outstanding……absolutely fabulous. I’ve eaten this meal many times at our beautiful coastal cities, but this is by far my favorite. So much of the time this is a somewhat bland meal. But, not here…….i ask for it spicy…..not just hot. Whatever they use it is mouthwatering. Thank you Blake. And as usual, everything was great…..thank you Kaitlin, Mai, Tracy, Blake, Brian and Nathaniel.

Great food. The cake we got for desert was stale but we have been there a dozen times and my first complaint.

Food was terrible. I got Salmon which is a special on their menu and the sauce did not taste good. My sister got scallops and she couldn't even eat a quarter of her dish. Afterwards we both felt sick and had an upset stomach for hours to the point where we had to skip the hike we wanted to do.
