Frida's & Diego's Mexican Cuisine

OMG!! This is by far the best Mexican restaurant (in America) that I have visited in my entire life! It tastes extremely authentic, as if I was in Mexico. The best item on the menu…the Frida’s Rolls!!! I HAVE NO WORDS! I will be back the next time I am in town…at least once a day. ?????? The guacamole is also exceptional. Everyone left extremely satisfied. Such a wonderful find. The owner is also an awesome guy with excellent customer service.

I would give this spot more stars if I could. Food was excellent. Nostalgic for me strangely enough. The entire place feels like the best Mexican wedding you've ever been to. Food was fantastic. Will be back

Mom and I came here today! Wow what a hidden gem! The food is not your usual Tex Mexican food it is excellent!!! Mom had the chicken soup and I had the Frieda rolls! The sauce one the rolls is sweet and a touch of spice with chicken inside. This was a joy and the owners customer service is joyful and very energetic.

Had lunch here for the first time with my daughter, and it was fantastic. I asked the owner to surprise me, and the burrito he gave me was phenomenal. Could not have asked for better food or service. Will definitely be back.

It was very hidden off highway, no sign, walked in, no other people in restaurant. Waiter greeted us but not real friendly, seemed preoccupied watching TV on phone, not professional. Menu good but pricey, ordered special, quacomole, 2 soups. Very expensive for Mexican food and gotten just as good quality if not better at other Mexican restaurants. Will not return, overrated for sure!

Genuinely the best authentic Mexican food I have had in my life. Alex explained everything and helped steer us to our choices. The chorizo torta was PERFECT. The Frida rolls(flautas) were so incredibly tender and flavorful. They have a salsa bar with pickled veggies and toppings that were done in house. You can really tell that every recipe was put together with love. Any kind of Tex-mex food just can not compare with how wonderful this place was. We would 100% drive the 4.5 hours again to get another go at this menu. 5/5 all across the board.

My parents lived in Franklin for a few years and always ate at the same popular Mexican restaurant in town. They weren’t pleased the last time they ate there. While in town this weekend we were looking for a good place to eat and Frida’s & Diego’s came up in my Google search. We are always in the mood for Mexican and thought we’d try something new. Everyone at the table was very pleased with their meals and they were delicious!!! The bean dip we were served with our chips was amazing! Never had anything else like it. My dad had a burrito and it was the biggest one I’d ever seen. My parents can be picky eaters but really enjoyed the food and service. I thought the atmosphere was great and the decor was so cute!! My dad asked if our waitress’ name was Frida and if this was her restaurant ? Needless to say, my parents got a history lesson at the same time when they learned Frida & Diego were cultural icons in Mexico. Give this place a try, so worth it!!

Delicious lunches! Friendly, helpful service. Queso dip is one of the best. Quality ingredients...what more could you ask for?

We were thrilled to learn there is a Restaurant in Franklin North Carolina that serves the real deal; traditional, authentic, knock your socks off, Mexican food. My husband and I are not fans of Tex Mex tacos/burritos/enchiladas filled with gooey cheese and refried beans. We travel extensively overseas and in the United States and we are always looking for great restaurants (not chain); and, we are ever so grateful that we actually have a place right here in Franklin that we can enjoy at least once a week. An absolute must. Okay

I travel to Franklin twice a year for the gem shows. Stumbled across this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The food was outstanding!!! Not your average Mexican food and definitely not your average Franklin food. My palate may never be the same! Enjoyed every single bite of the Frida Rolls and Chile Rellenos. Even better than the food was meeting Alex. There just aren’t enough words to explain how delicious and amazing this place is!!! I can’t wait to go back.

Vegan friendly! The owner made sure that our burritos were vegan, most of their dishes can be made vegan, the restaurant’s design is great, comfortable, loved the vintage black and white pictures of Frida, nice and clean place with great customer service, hope to visit again soon. Thanks!

The best-kept secret in Franklin, NC! If you have never tried Frida’s & Diego’s Mexican Cuisine, do not hesitate! This is the best Mexican restaurant that we have ever eaten at. I wish we lived closer, so we could dine here more often. However, we will definitely stop here in the future when passing through. The food was so fresh-tasting and delicious throughout the entire meal. The owner is also very friendly and such a genuine soul. We will be spreading the word to everyone we know back home!
