We sat out in the patio area because we had dogs with us. It was comfortable and shady enough. Four of us looked at the Tavern burger and knew it would be great with the elk burger, and it was!

This place is amazing! We've had rainbow trout, elk burgers, steak, etc and everything has been top notch. The sides are to die for. Can be a little busy around dinner time but the food is worth the wait!

Amazing food! Amazing service. We were just passing through town on our way through the smoky mountains and came across this diner. The staff are kind and the food was cooked to perfection.
