Went here for the first time while I was on vacation. Great service, friendly staff, very attentive. Even when it was busy, we were never in want of refills, and she checked on us regularly. The food was good; however, my personal preference is to have more smoke on the pork and brisket.

Whatever you crave brisket, chicken, pork, turkey, mac n' cheese, collard greens, brunswick stew, french fries, coleslaw, baked beans and more, they have it all and it is all delicious!

My brisket sandwich was delicious and my wife stated that her pork sandwich was the best she ever had! (and she's picky) Meat was lean, in both sandwiches, no fat at all.

After years of dining here 4 or 5 times or more, annually, we've had our last meal here.
I'm not sure what's happening, but the 5 star went down to 3.
The pulled pork was tasteless and chewy. Beans were simply adequate- no personality. Almost taste like they were right out of a bush's bean can.
Cole slaw had lots of large cabbage pieces.
The saving grace was the smoked turkey.
It's too bad. This was my go to BBQ joint. 😠😥
Finally got to eat here and we were not disappointed. The brisket burger was awesome! The staff were happy and eager to help. Highly recommend.

Man. Just pitiful meat portions and quality. Dry brisket, school cafeteria-style chicken. Sides were better, but still very average. Banana pudding was good.
