Was in the Franklin North Carolina area to pick up a Facebook Marketplace purchase LoL and randomly stopped by here to grab some food... Man, this had to be one of the better tasting Philly Cheese Steaks I've ever tasted... Cook to perfection ? packed with flavor.. With just the right about of meat and veggies ? and the onion rings were good as well?.. Next time I'm in the area we will be stopping by for another... Oh and I'm not a drinker (Almost 3 years sober.. Go me LoL ?) But the brewery was pretty chill... We kicked it on the patio and played some corn hole.. Cool merch as well ?
Kid-friendliness: At first we didn't know it was a brewery. After we pulled in, we were kind of hesitant about taking our three year old, but we sat outside and played games .. Shortly after there was like seven other small children there so they had fun...
Came up to the window and the guy in there said I’ll be a minute … no Hi with eye contact … he let me stand there for a while the flys were all around the counter …. He didn’t speak to me or take my order while I was standing there at least 20 mins …. So I decide I wasn’t going to order … Every time we come here he says we can’t take any orders right now … he’s in the wrong business … it’s time for lazy hiker to get a new food truck ….

My husband and I went to Franklin NC to camp for our Anniversary and stopped here for some craft beer and lunch. The owners were so friendly and the food was amazing. My husband had a hamburger that was huge and I had the best Philly Cheesesteak I have ever had! We live about two hours away and I would go back just to eat there again. I’m not a beer drinker but my husband had some great IPA’s. Definitely recommend!

Great spot for an IPA. I don't like IPAs but if you do this is your spot. I found a beer I did like though. The food truck outside was decent. Cool spot lots of fun people just hanging out enjoying the day. Walked down from the gardens they were quite lovely this time of year.

I was heading to a birthday party so I chose to get my $8 HOT DOG for to-go, the cashier said “tip what you can”. I didn’t tip anything because that’s more of a dine in thing for me. As soon as the guy with glasses gave me my food after a 20-30 min wait I said “Thank you so much”. As I was walking away he mumbled “try tipping next time”.
Where I work I have to do a lot of heavy lifting and never once do I ask for a tip, I just turn them down.
If you have to beg for a tip you probably don’t deserve it. I tip based off great service.
If your service is great, it will not go unnoticed.
All he did was take my card from me and charge me..
My husband and I had the smoked lamb chops and they were the best we have had. We ordered a Philly to go and oh my, it was ABSOLUTELY delicious!

Great no frills food truck in the heart of downtown Franklin. They deliver directly into the Lazy Hiker brewery. We all had great food. My husband said his chili dog was the best he’s ever had!

Not good. Cheesesteaks are awful - burnt and not flavorful, not enough cheese. They are definitely not Philly style. I liked the fries but my husband said they were the worst. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the chicken tenders. Pretty good service - delivered to table and provided utensils.
