Took a drive and ended up in N.C. for lunch. Great food and prices. The service was amazing, and it had a great atmosphere. I would drive another 1 1/2 hours to eat there again.
By far the best place to dine in...
I had the opportunity to meet the Chophouse Chef (owner) who kindly shared with our group his magnificent career and experience in the culinary arts since GREENBRIER, WEST VIRGINIA in 1981. I do recommend this fabulous and classy restaurant without a doubt to any outside visitor/tourist.
If you ever visit Franklin, you will find the best restaurants of Western North Carolina right on main street, at the heart of the Downtown.
P.s. stop by the bar if you are looking for a professional bartender and the best cocktail menu in town.
Nice place, relaxed and comfortable. BLT and burgers were actually amazing. Friendly and professional service from Christopher. We enjoyed it, thanks ya’ll.
I just want to say that the food was excellent. the cook Tiffany cullins recommended the butternut squash ravioli with lobster and it was absolutely delicious. I 10/10 recommend this restaurant. the servers were also great. and very attentive. I will definitely be back!!
Traveling through the area ,our group of ten stopped in for a bite to eat. We were told they were short staffed, but they did not lack in any area. Our food was delicious and appealing to look at. Our waitress was on top of our needs. We would absolutely dine there again when we are back in the area!!
Great place! Friendly staff and fish and chips was very good. First time here and will be back! Must try restaurant!
When we arrived, we had to wait a little while before we were seated as there was no one at the hostess station. However, after being seated by our waitress Emma her service was excellent. We got the onion bloom as an appetizer and it was great with a spicy ranch dipping sauce. I ordered the crab cakes and was very impressed by the size and amount of crab in each one. The only drawback to the restaurant was the lighting. Our booth didn't have an overhead light making it difficult to read the menu. The food and service was great!
The whole experience was amazing!! Definitely recommend and fantastic service by Doreen our waitress!!
We stopped at JR Chophouse on our road trip and was blown away by their quality of food and service . Doreen took care of us like we were old friends. Thank you Doreen and JR Chophouse for the great experience!
We had a great Wednesday special, so it was a great price too. There were problems, but it wasn't our servers fault. The salads were very slow coming out. Kitchen problem. The bread wasn't ready yet, so we didn't get any bread until we were half way thru our main course. Kitchen problem!! So there are some management problems. The food was very good!!

Excellent food, drinks and entertainment!
Great meal and great service. Our waiter Steve was extremely informative about the menu and the area. Bartender/manager checked in on us, and was very nice. Callamari and flatbread appetizer were excellent. Focaccia bread isn't my thing, but my husband thought it was good. We both ordered the dinner special, myself the filet mignon, and my husband the seafood, and they too were excellent The ONLY complaint is that the portion size was a bit small for a big guy like my husband, but since we had 2 appetizers he survived!!!!When in the area again, we will definitely go back.
The food was delicious and well worth the prices, which were reasonable. Chris was our server. He was attentive, kind and made us feel right at home. Thanks for a really nice dining experience.
My wife and I eat there regularly. The service is great and the food is fantastic. It kinda got off to a rocky start when it first opened but with a new Head Chief and extra servers, who are very friendly and helpful, it has come along to be one of the better restaurants in Franklin.

Terrible experience for a valentines dinner. Waited a little longer on our food than what we should have considering it wasn’t busy. Was told it was because they were waiting on the baked potatoes. Which was not true because the potatoes were brown on the inside. They were old!! Next, I had ordered a sirloin and was brought a ribeye and tried to convince me it was a sirloin. I DO NOT like ribeyes. I hate the fat and grizzle. I have eaten enough steak to know the difference between a sirloin and a ribeye. Spoke to manger who also tried to tell me it was a sirloin. Then finally admitted it was a ribeye. Wasn’t offered anything other than do you want a new steak. No, no I don’t I had already waited 45 minutes for my meal after my order was placed. The restaurant had empty tables. So finally the waitress asked if we wanted any dessert. I said no and she was like it’s on us. So I said sure and ordered something. Well wouldn’t you know it was added to our bill. As well as the steak that I ate 3 bites from that costed $24-$27. We will never go back!! We have eaten at restaurants all over the US and this was the worst experience we have ever had!
