This is a Mexican grocery store as well as a restaurant. I had a little trouble finding it. They need better signage. The grocery area is well stocked with canned goods. They also have a meat case. I ordered takeout from the restaurant area. It was very good. Definitely authentic Mexican cuisine, not Tex-Mex.
They straight up lie about their pricing, never again.
This spot felt like a no-frills win, quick, comforting, and exactly what I needed.
I stopped in for a casual bite and left full and satisfied. The burrito was the highlight, generously packed with well-seasoned meat and vegetables, then blanketed in a creamy sauce that brought it all together. On the side, rice, beans, and fresh chips with salsa made the meal feel whole without overcomplicating anything.
The setting was relaxed, the pace unhurried, and the flavors exactly what you’d hope for when craving something familiar.
Highly recommend for when you want something fast, filling, and made with care. It’s the kind of meal that does its job and leaves you smiling.
The owner is a nice lady and the carnicero is really nice and fast id recommend the highly
Best tacos in Franklin
My wife's favorite restaurant
Excellent food and attention.
They are improving in many areas.
Everything is very expensive and they don't set prices. And sometimes they charge more things
Server was good, food (taco al pastor and carnitas) were awful. Especially carnitas, no marinade, BAD flavor... Looked like pork with thick skin still on. I don't have a problem with that form of pork, it's just that I almost gagged as it gave off this stench of rotten meat/decaying flesh. The menu was edited to charge 2.97 per taco (vs. the previous lower price). I had two tacos and a glass of water. However when I took my check to the counter my bill was over 11 dollars (AND I HAD LEFT MY SERVER A CASH TIP). Tried asking why the bill was so high and I got the no comprende runaround... Just happy to get out of there and never come back. Give your business to Tamalitos or any other Mexican restaurant in town.
