Lazy Hiker is a very great brewery! We had The Trail Mate, Uncle’s Vice, Sunset Sour Ale, and Dad Jokes and all were super tasty! We tried the fries and mozzarella sticks and they were pretty freaking good too. Best curly fries ever. Top notch establishment fo sho

Stepped in for a 'quick brew', which was this time the Octoberfest beer. Great brew, with great body of malty flavors an a nice caramel finish.
THX well done, as war the bar service - we will return!

A great local business to support in the heart of Macon County! I didn't come here for the alcohol, so I can't comment on that, as I hardly drink any of the stuff to begin with. However, if you don't want to drink, there is a food truck on site, and I got a rather tasty gyro from it! They also sell bottled water and soda, so I was able to get a Sprite to go with my food.

One cool thing about this place is that there is some sort of registry by the bathroom for hikers of the Appalachian Trail to sign!

Always a "must do" on the "to do" list. A great place to enjoy, no matter where the trail may lead!

I may not be the ideal audience to review this brewery; I’ll stay with my experience on the food truck.
I went in with the expectation to find great brewery food; their food truck was awarded Macon county’s “best French fries”. Unfortunately, I must disagree with their reviews.
The burger was okay, not but, not memorable either. But I hate to say, their fries are greasy, soggy and overcooked. The taste was good, as if made from real potatoes. I was hoping for French fries with a crunchy exterior and a light, fluffy interior.

I’m thankful for the experience; not for me.

It was 93° on my last visit a couple of days ago when Lazy Hiker had all their doors and windows open and weren't running an AC! Add that there is only one ceiling fan over a single table.

I'll go back for the good food and craft beer but holy crap, not on a hot day.

Minus two stars for making my friends and I sweat
