The salad and spaghetti with eggplant parmesan were perfect, as usual. And the garlic knot rolls are so good! This restaurant has been around for many years and has been one of the best--if not THE best-- Italian restaurants in the region. That still holds true. They have the best red sauce and the best salad dressings (you get to choose from 3 served on a Lazy Susan) of any place I can think of. Only wish they were open more nights a week, but I bet it takes a lot of preparation and exhausting effort to serve up such wonderful food. The wait staff are exceptional, attentive and gracious.

My Friend and I decided to splurge and go to Lucia's on Sat. Evening. I ordered the half roasted chicken. When it came I couldn't cut the wing off it as it was so tough. I brought the thigh and drumstick home and last night cut into it to use it on a chef salad I made for myself. It was full of blood and that is why I was running to the bathroom constantly with diarrhea. It was so dark in the restaurant so I didn't notice what the chicken looked like I just knew it was tough and didn't taste good. My Friend ordered the chicken parm sub and there wasn't a problem with that. I paid $21.00 for a dinner that was just terrible and as a Sr. Don't have money to throw away. I was terribly disappointed and feel like saving the chicken and bringing it in Thursday to show the cook. He needs to roast the chicken longer. Thank you for letting me vent. There are so few restaurants in Franklin and I was looking g forward to a good dinner.

This is "Old World" for sure but so comforting. The food was delicious, served with a wonderful salad, garlic rolls, a dressing condiment caddy, and the food and wine portions are quite generous. My mom is going to love this place ? !!
As good as any food you will find in Franklin, North Carolina. Authentic and fresh. Garlic bread and homemade salad dressings were highlights.

We absolutely loved this place! We've tried several times over the last couple of years to eat there, but we're always closed. We looked on Google and showed that they were open Wed. So, we drove from Clayton and it was closed. But, we did see on the door that they were open Thursday, Friday, Sat. I am so glad that we were finally able to eat there! This will be our go to when we want Italian. We were impressed with how everyone worked together instead of just depending on your waiter if you needed anything. They were on top of everything! Never needed to ask for tea refills, they would remove any dish when you were done with it. The food was delicious and the serving portions were way more than you could eat. So, we had leftovers the next day. We love this place!!

Had dinner here with my husband while we were in the area for a long weekend. The wait was a little longer than expected but the food was definitely worth waiting for. Highly recommended, will go here again when we are in the area.Parking: There is a large parking lot but we had to park behind the restaurant because it was so busy when we arrived.
The place needs to be updated. The rolls are always tough now. The menu needs some updates. Decor is bad.

This is by no means a review of Lucios since we never got to eat there ! It is merely to let the public know how much the owners care about their business.Heeding the advice of other reviewerswe arrived 20 mins prior to the 5 pm opening and waited in line with 20 or more people. The restaurant never opened nor was there any notice on the door or internet .By my estimate....Lucios lost 800 to 1000 dollars just on that 1st wave of guests.Another in line guest announced there was notice given on Facebook . I have yet to find any such notice !
