The ambiance is fun and nostalgic. You can sit in or outside (N.C. has the best weather). My patty melt and my sister's burger were a bit well done, but tasted good. The chili was delicious and the largest bowl serving I've ever gotten. The shakes alone are reason enough to come back. I had rootbeer float and my sister had a peanut butter milk shake (they were perfect). Our waitress was very nice but not very attentive. It may seem I'm being negative, but I would come back. Moreover, I would recommend trying this place at least once. The shakes alone could keep this place open.

This was my third time here. I tried the chicken Quesadilla this time since I had a numb mouth from some dental work. I didn't expect anything too remarkable. It was actually better than I thought it would be. The chicken was seasoned well, and the tortilla was perfectly, slightly browned & crispy. Onion rings were perfect as expected. My mint chip shake was so yummy! Good early dinner.

I can't think of a single bad thing to say about this place. They have gluten free options for their burgers. The service is always on point and the retro theme is fun.
After seating, we were asked for our drink order, & our meal order--we hadn't been given time to see the menu! Zero social grace in the waitress. Our drinks arrived quickly& she asked again for our order. We needed a bit more time, she walked away, 10 minutes later reappeared obviously surly & frustrated and said "are you ready now?!" Food took awhile. When server brought food and put it down, she asked if we needed anything else and walked away before we could tell her the needed items. We were left without silverware, napkins and without some items included in the order, which another server got for us. The only time the server remotely tried to act pleasant was when she dropped the check. She was obviously annoyed & disinterested and only was friendly with some people who arrived that she definitely knew at another table. The fries were cold. Food was bland, but burger was ok.

Thought this would be a great place to eat. According to the reviews. Well the reviews are not up to date at all !!!!!!! We got the 4 high 2 of them. When they come out my burger smelled awful. I told them no onion I have an allergy. Well that’s what the burger smelled like. When asked she looked at me and said don’t eat it. Our spices have onion in them. But yet waitress let me order it. My friends burger was raw. They took it back and made him a new one. When it came back out 30 mins later. It was raw again!!!! The only thing they could offer me was a grilled cheese. They refused to make the burger right and made us pay for it. The lady said I’m just a lead manager I can’t take anything off. But she took my burger off????? The wait staffed completely ignored us. I had to ask them to refill my water. If you look at receipt the lead manager was able to give us 10% off apps. And our drinks free. Hello I had water it was already free. This is the worst place to go to eat. So don’t make any plans on a special day here. You will be dissatisfied. I hope this gets to there manager or owner. One of the two because I paid for a meal that had to be left on the table because it was raw.
