Ate there once and we enjoyed the experience - food and service was great. Unfortunately they closed on 12/31/2021. Another restaurant is coming to this location March 2022.

Nice family style restaurant. I Had fried mushrooms for appetizers. very good. Fish was also good. Didn't care for the Onion Rings.

One of our favorite places in town to eat. Don't let the deceptive standard cafe menu fool you. Execution is leaps and bounds above the other standard care cafes in town. The pimento cheese is amazing, recommend putting it on about anything. Burgers are an easy recommendation also. Breakfast isn't as great as the lunch menu, but still tasty. Staff is always friendly and prompt.

Great place to eat in Franklin, N.C. Not fancy but down to earth place to get comfort food. The 6 oz. hamburgers were hand pattied and large. Comes with all the fixings you could want. Onion rings were very good. Waiter was friendly and attentive. The desserts looked fresh and inviting. Not too crowded at 12:15. We look forward to going back in the near future.

This is a must stop location when in Franklin. Been here a few times now and the food is AMAZING! Friendly staff and great location on Main Street. There is nothing bad in the menu and the portions will have you full.

Fantastic main Street restaurant. I had the grilled pimento cheese with bacon and it was flowing with delicious cheddar. My wife had the turkey club with chips and it was more meat than bread. The chips are homemade and the Bleu cheese dressing was great. My fries came out cold for some reason (it happens) but when I told the waitress, she was out with fresh hot fries within 2 minutes. Excellent sercive.

This is my go to breakfast spot. The French toast is my absolute favorite! They have a huge menu for breakfast that you can customize. My food is always hot, it's cooked perfectly, and their sweet tea is fresh! ( If you like tea you know what I mean)It's cozy, laid back and a great breakfast spot. The hours are really convenient! They open early enough for the early risers or for those who want a late breakfast. Perfect for Saturday mornings!

After taking a glance at the 4 and 5 star reviews here we knew we could not do better than to repeat the accolades already expressed - ALL TRUE: first of all, consistently good food reasonably priced; a staff that all seem to work as a team covering for the ubiquitous situation of every establishment being short staffed due to whatever the govt is bent on doing to our economy by paying people to stay home; the attitude here is exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, the omelets are fab, home fries crispy and copious, grits cooked just right, coffee hot, booths large....Wall décor offers humorous reading while waiting to be served, .... Outside high table seating is great if you want to people-watch while eating breakfast or lunch (not open for dinner)....AND a ToGo cup of my coffee was offered without my even asking. Of course we love breakfasts here! On any afternoon stroll past those eating outside we make it a point to ask if that lunch really tastes as good as it looks, and ALWAYS get a YES IT IS! answer. Downtown Franklin offers a lot to tourists and locals; eating here is one of our special treats when visiting the mountains of Western NC.

You are not cramped in the dining room, which is pleasant. The service was good, as it has been each time we've visited. We wanted to love the Shrimp & Grits, and it was good, but a little bland.

Vicky waited on us and she was amazing! We sat outside and ate lunch. We ordered the whiskey battered onion rings. The plate was huge and they tasted awesome. We also had their turkey sandwich and it was so packed with meat I could only eat half of it. Great prices and great place to have lunch. A place you must check out!
