I came here yesterday with my husband for our 25th wedding anniversary and what was supposed to be a nice night out just turned into us feeling like we we're burdens and we're not welcome. Our food was cold and our waiter, Slater was extremely rude the entire time, absoluetly everything took forever and overall it was a bad experience.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon in July around 1:00 PM. There is plenty of parking. They weren’t very busy, and we were immediately taken to a table. There are lots of tables and bar seating. The inside much more decorative than it looks from outside. Service was good although the plates could have been picked up a bit quicker. We all ordered a draft beers. My spouse had the Dragon roll. I ordered the Shrimp Teriyaki Lunch box. I asked for light teriyaki sauce and subbed a Philadelphia Roll for the California Roll. There was an upcharge of $2.00. Our friend got the Hibachi Lunch Chicken and Shrimp. The food arrived fairly quickly was plated nicely. The small salad had crisp lettuce but too much ginger dressing for my tastes. We all enjoyed our choices. If you have a hankering for Japanese food, this will hit the spot.

We eat here at least once a week and love it. We have been costal dwellers for years and are used to fresh seafood. This place is amazing, fresh and delicious sushi. So happy to have such a good restaurant in Franklin. Thank you all.

Waited 15 minutes on the phone to make a Togo order and gave up after that. The food is good but waiting forever to be seated and forever for food to come out is why I tried ordering Togo only to find it takes forever with that as well.

Sushi was excellent, my only complaint was the seaweed paper inside was extremely chewy, I am not used to that. Service was great,

Expensive small plates
Almost no veggies on any order.
Small portions , but you do get soup or a small salad

Steak was very chewy

Vegetable tempura appetizer was one very small onion slice, one sweet potato slice, & two broccoli.
To order the same thing at Asian king you get 4 or 5 of each item, and they also include mushrooms, green beans and, celery for the same price. The menu doesn't say appetizer for one.
Beautiful restaurant, spacious and nice environment.

Everything is very oily
Service was slow

Rant, I hate that anymore you just get one napkin and a fork.
Give people a knife and extra napkins, if you ask for extra napkins they give you 10, maybe start with two, and we won't have to request them, and the servers won't just grab a handful of them.

Very good overall. Food was hot and tasty and plentiful. Hibachi is cooked in the kitchen not at a shared table but that doesn't take away from the food a bit. My wife had tempura shrimp and we brought half of it home. $50 with two beers. Will go back.

I am John Nightingale, I was at this establishment around 6:45pm May 31 2025.
We were seated immediately, the waitress was fairly slow, she took our drink order water & tea.
Took a while for her to get back to take our orders. My wife ordered a meal I just had an appetizer. Wife got her salad quickly which was nothing but iceberg lettuce a couple of slivers of onion with a couple tablespoons of salad dressing.
Then it took a goood 35/40 minutes for our orders to be served. In the mean time the waitress was never to be seen till the meal was brought out 35/40 minutes later. We had to ask her to fill our glasses. She filed the wife’s tea glass and didn’t even bother to recognize my need for water. Before I could ask her she took off.
Wife’s meat was way over cooked, the crab ragoons were tasteless, had to go get the waiters to tell her about the meat. We got up went to pay for tea and ragoons then ask for recite and the waitress got a nasty attitude.
By the way the place was not busy at all, I can see why it wasn’t especially on a Saturday evening.
Won’t ever go back and will warn others.
Wasted Saturday evening in Franklin NC!!

Love it! They have a large selection on the menu, and my gluten-free friend was able to find plenty of good things.
