We had a Philly cheese steak and a shrimp poboy with chips & tater tots. The sides were fine, but the bread on both and the roast beef & shrimp main ingredients were so over done that the taste wasn't worth the chewing needed to consume. It's a shame as it's a nice, place with many offerings to choose from. But, you can't enjoy what you cannot easily chew.
We were traveling and asked Google for a barbecue restaurant in Franklin. Smokestack Cafe popped up so we decided to try it. What a great decision! The staff was very friendly, the cafe was clean and pleasant, and the barbecue was outstanding. Thank you Smokestack Cafe for a wonderful dining experience!

The tenders reheated very well (without getting tough like other places).
I’ve eaten here before as a dine-in customer and it’s always good with nice size portions.
