Franklinton has a small hometown vibe...the reason why I moved here. My boyfriend and I are finally settled in (after 1yr of being here) went out for dinner. My boyfriend wanted to go to Wake Forest and eat but I suggested trying out restaurant in town. Eli's did NOT disappoint. Awesome Food, Service & surroundings. Can't wait to go back. If you want GREAT QUALITY Food...Go to Eli's!!!

Was not overly impressed with the food or service. Staff was nice but out of one dish we ordered and told afterwards. Our order got messed up somehow. I guess ci fusion in the kitchen. Pulled pork was “ok” and the brisket had no flavor. The jalenpeno appetizer was really good

We ordered the $65 meat sampler platter. It was fantastic. We liked the brisket the best, then the ribs.. We also thought that jalapeño cheddar Houze made sausage with spectacular... The pulled pork was a little vinegary, but still good. Our server, Haley, was so exceptional that we assumed she was family with the owners. This was our first time to come here, but I believe we will be regulars now! Five stars across the board! we had dinner on their patio and brought our three year-old Labradoodle. They even brought her water :)

Eli's Tavern has consistently good food. My husband and I have eaten here many times and continue to come back again. The menu provides enough variety to keep its customers happy.

Had a gift card given to me for my anniversary. For some reason with it being bought through a third party it wouldn’t work, but Eli’s still honored the gift card. Awesome customer service! Kristen was a very attentive server! We will be back!

I came to Rocky Mount, NC for work and couldn't find anything local worth trying. I found this restaraunt by chance after visiting a nearby cigar lounge. This restaraunt is a gem of a find. Ate here on a Sunday and came back again today. Amazing food and atmosphere out in the middle of nowhere. I will always look forward to driving the 45 mins from rocky mount to this restaraunt.

I rarely post reviews, but I feel this one is needed. My husband and I went for their Valentine’s menu and left so disappointed. We used to love Eli’s before they changed it to a “smokehouse”. Now the food is extremely bland, dry, and not worth the money. We spent $170 tonight for plates that were not finished. My husband got the beef rib and had to saw it with a butter knife to cut it off the bone. The mashed potatoes and carrots that went with the meal were drowned in the (bbq ??) sauce…which was also not good. We got the chocolate covered strawberries with our meal (3 for $15) and those were also disappointing. They were very small and the strawberries were mushy. Truly I’m not here to be negative, but we’ve tried the “new Eli’s” at least 5 different times and we’ve left disappointed each time. I hate to say that we will not be returning.
