Hometown Cafe is regular go to. It's close to my home and it's always interesting to see local people who dine there. The atmospheres not the greatest, but the food is always pretty good. Personally, I think they should invest in redoing the restaurant to make it a more pleasant place to eat. The locals love the place because the prices are usually pretty good.

I took out a takeout order on 11/3/24 it was on a Sunday it was around lunch time I asked were they serving soup and what the soup of the day was broccoli cheddar soup large cup hats off to the chef who prepared is it a daily soup of the day I would purchase more often. One complaint I call back to give them five stars when answered they hung up the phone ?

We used Hometown Cafe to cater a meal for 45 people. The food was delivered hot, on time, and was delicious. It was all we hoped it would be. We would recommend them and don't forget the homemade banana pudding. Thanks, Craig Pleasants.
Good home cooked food. They CLOSE at 7pm, which cuts many of us out of dinner because we work outside of town and can't get there in time. Wish they would bring some different menu options. They use the thick Texas bread for sandwiches and toast and I dont know why they dont offer thin bread. There prices are fair. Large parking area. Staff dosen't have much personality. Take out available but check it good. Several times I have got home with my food and discovered things were not as ordered.

I would like to say I have been going to Hometown Cafe for a long time. The food has always been good, but lately it is really great. New ownership is doing a fabulous job. From what I've seen the owner has the waitress, waiters and cooks are being up held to a standard that should be at a restaurant. Keep up the good work and all your customers will love this Cafe as much as I do. Everything on the menu is a great dish.

My wife and I have eaten here often over many years but we will Never eat there again I have at times order a hamburger without a bun but have asked for some gravy and onions and have been charged $8.99 as stated in the menu. When I got the bill I was charged $11.99. When I asked for it to be corrected I was told seeing as I ordered it as a hamburger steak because of the gravy I was charged $11.99. The hamburger steak meal comes with gravy and onions and two sides and is a larger piece of meat.
If I had been told I would be charged 11.99 I probably would have still ordered it and taken home the two sides. But I wasn’t told a thing about this until I paid the bill
It’s not a matter of the $3 (I have often ordered the hamburger steak before) it’s a matter of how this was handled. As though I was trying to steal something from them!
As I stated earlier. We have eaten here often but will NEVER eat there again

This a family owned establishment with very friendly staff. They all help each other. The food is tasty, but the atmosphere is what keeps me coming back time and time again. The girls in this establishment are fantastic and very eager to make sure the experience is one worth remembering. I love the hometown cafe.
