We were here with a group of 9 celebrating our friends retirement. The food was all excellent and our server was efficient and friendly. The homemade chips were delicious. Several had fish and they all raved about it. I think between the 9 of us we had almost all the sides and they were delicious as were the entrees. Would return in a heartbeat!
Hometown Cafe is regular go to. It's close to my home and it's always interesting to see local people who dine there. The atmospheres not the greatest, but the food is always pretty good. Personally, I think they should invest in redoing the restaurant to make it a more pleasant place to eat. The locals love the place because the prices are usually pretty good.
I took out a takeout order on 11/3/24 it was on a Sunday it was around lunch time I asked were they serving soup and what the soup of the day was broccoli cheddar soup large cup hats off to the chef who prepared is it a daily soup of the day I would purchase more often. One complaint I call back to give them five stars when answered they hung up the phone ?
