Wonderful breakfast food! This place lives up to the reviews as their food is a unique blend of sweet and spice. They're quite popular, so the wait may be a bit longer than expected, but the food is worth the wait. It's also quite neat being near a scrapyard!

Absolutely delicious!! Unique amd simple just as a breakfast spot should be. Love the hospitality from the owner. We showed up at about 10 minutes until close and my fiance wanted bacon and they had just ran out and she offered to cook some fresh. They even brought our food out to our car after it was ready. I have told so many people about ironbox, I hope this business does so well they need expand and go to surrounding cities.
Warning - this spot houses one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the state of North Carolina! The Island breakfast sandwich is insane! There’s no dud in the whole line up. Great product, world class customer service. Do NOT let the location fool you. This spot HITS!

I'll start with the staff... Fantastic! Even though this was our first time, we were greeted like we've been there a hundred times. They were helpful while we placed our order, repeating it to make sure they got everything right - my wife wanted her eggs and bacon well done. After placing the order, the whole staff thanked us - that was pretty cool and very welcoming!
The food is fantastic! My wife's sandwich, the Bacon Breakfast, was perfectly cooked and prepared. The bacon was crispy and the eggs well done. My wife couldn't stop mentioning how she was so pleased with the bacon and the sandwich. I got the Protein-Packed and it was so delicious. Again, perfectly cooked, great flavors!
While you're ordering, don't forget to order Crispy Cajun Tater Tots! Again, nicely cooked, crispy outside and tender inside.
As for the atmosphere, it is in the parking lot of an auto repair and auto recycling businesses. An unusual place for a food truck! However, don't let that deter you! They have picnic tables available to eat at. We ate in our truck, which was nice! We watched the stream of people coming in and out, ordering their food and enjoying it.
You can also place your order ahead of time and pick it up! I'm planning to do this on weekends I'm teaching and need to pick up my breakfast quickly.
Again, the staff is so friendly and helpful. They make you feel like friends even when it's the first time meeting them.
Well worth the 2 and half hour drive! first off do not let the location discourage you from finding the hidden gem. We were greeted with bright smiling friendly staff that were so appreciative that we made the drive. I ordered the Ironbox (added chorizo),island which was recommended to be the chef’s favorite, the golden morning delight and two orders of the Cajun tots, my tastebuds were dancing with happiness. It was raining and the staff was more than happy to deliver the food to our car staff will deliver it to our car. Thank you all so much. 10/10 recommend. Will be back for sure.
The best sandwiches in three towns, hands down! The owners are wholesome, God centered, and humble who make amazing food and serve with a smile! Try the Cajun tots and any combo of sandwiches or platters, you can’t go wrong. If you show up after one of the times they’ve gone viral, don’t forget they didn’t ask to go viral and give them some grace as they navigate!!
