My only complaint is that I have not found this place sooner. Such a great experience!

First time visiting, and really enjoyed it. Had an early dinner: fried pickles, turkey wrap and grilled chicken. Service was really good and the food was very tasty. Went around 4pm on Saturday, and it was not crowded at all. Will recommend and be back.

Nice atmosphere ordered the pimento bacon cheeseburger. My only dings, I asked for two slices of tomato only got one and would have liked a few more french fries on the plate apparently somebody thought I needed to be on a diet. One of the fellas in the group ordered their Reuben sandwich It looked positively delicious! beautiful Golden crust on the sandwich and plenty of goodies within.

Excellent meal and service! The Reuben sandwich is fine slices of corned beef—best we have had in the surrounding Raleigh area. Sandwiches (with side) are enough for 2. Top shelf liquor. Spacious room with high and low top tables. One of the owners walked around talking to everyone and asking if everything was ok—rarely find this hospitality. Can’t wait to try Sunday brunch! ?

Catherine was an amazing server. She made sure to make our experience a great one. The staff works so well together and all seem to enjoy their work and get along.

Had dinner here my last night in franklinton while visiting family. I had the jambalaya and fried green beans on recommendation of our waitress. The food was excellent. I also enjoyed a couple glasses of their peach sangria which I highly recommend.

The Afterlife I love it. .Quite unique in decor and the fact that it is a former funeral home. Dinner of stuffed salmon was absolutely delicious. Staff was attentive and quick to attend to our requests/needs. Will be returning in the near future for sure. Grade AAAA+

The food is great. The service is great. The owners are outstanding people. I would go there on a regular basis although I like more people in there with me so I float around. Come on guys come out here and enjoy this place

The food was delicious! Our waitress, Mindy, was so nice! The drinks were good. Great experience! Would definitely go back when I'm in Franklinton again.

Good place with some early operating things to iron out but unfailingly friendly. Would like it if there was at least 1 gluten free option, but overall, the food was good. Great casual experience. Good luck, guys.

Mandi was our server she did outstanding job taking care of our needs. We ordered the Wisconsin Cheese Curds as an appetizers. Plenty of curds to go around with a great mildly spicey ranch dressing. We ordered off the menu, however they did have specials that were not on the menu but Mandi gladly informed us of what they had. We got our food, plenty there was cooked to order and tasted great. Since we took most of our food back with us we had room for desert. The Creme Brule cheese cake and a Chocolate Lava Cake with a scoop of Ice Cream. Both were great and ended our dining out on a very sweet note. I'd recommend eating there, you should be very happy you did.

An instant favorite for my family. The food was delicious and the staff extremely friendly and efficient. They make you feel comfortable and at home here. You won't be disappointed!

We had heard great things about this new restaurant & decided to give it a try - we were not disappointed!Despite being a bit short-staffed (as many establishments are these days), Anna took excellent care of us. Sam, the owner, stopped by our table to introduce himself, welcome us & recommend a couple of dinner choices. Our food was cooked perfectly & the portions were very generous...but we did leave room for dessert: their key lime pie hit the spot!Downtown Franklinton is quickly becoming the place to go for food & fun - the After Life is a fantastic addition to the mix!!

The food is good and always consistent. Has a "family" type of vibe as opposed to a singles bar. Various live entertainers. So far I have not been aware of any events like trivia night or game night etc. Nice place to drop in for a sandwich and a beer. The bartender, Anthony, is the best bartender I've met in a long time!
