I was a regular for several weeks and liked the friendly staff. I was always friendly with the staff, give a nice tip, cleaned up after myself and sometimes others, and said thank you again when I left. Then I got 86'ed for my loyalty! One day I went in and the (probably high school) girl said "Hi Rob! Want your regular?" I'm old enough to be her grandfather. It seemed a bit forward. They ask your name for you order, which is fine, I guess, but you really just give it for your order, not because you want to be on intimate terms. When I got to other end of the counter, the barista (a guy) also addressed me by my first name, so I said "I guess I'm famous. What's your name?" and he told me. The next time I saw the girl, I asked her her name. She sort of froze up and squeaked out her name. So the *next* time I saw her, I said "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked your name." She didn't look up from her work and forced out "Oh. You're good." So the next time... the owner calls me into her office, and tells me that I "generally" make the staff uncomfortable (the dictionary definition of a creep). She said "parents" had been complaining. When I asked for specifics so I could apologize, she refused to give any. She told me I was welcome to come back as long as I didn't converse with the staff! Meanwhile, the manager says nothing and is wringing hands like maybe she isn't on board. (She'd told me *her* name, after all!) I felt awful and it really ruined my weekend. I finally talked to my daughter, who has worked in food service. She said, "Look, first of all, if you asked a guy's name first, it's obvious you weren't hitting on the girls. If you didn't say offensive things but possibly some of your non sequiturs, that's just customer service. We don't greet creepy people by first name and ask if they want their regular. Stop feeling guilty." So Alex, you need to ask yourself if you are running your business for loyal customers who are on track to spend $500-1000 in 2024, or if you're there to cater to the daddies of girls who are too immature to serve the loyal customers.

I go here almost 2-3 times a week and is my favorite place to get some work done and have a nice coffee! Their ingredients and the staff’s wonderful barista skills make their drinks so delicious. Their syrups are made in-house and the pastries are all fresh. All of the staff are so sweet and kind. The environment is very nice as well, with plenty of seating outside and inside!Dietary restrictions: Has great options for alternative milksParking: Not much parking right outside the shop, but there are many free parking lots in the areaKid-friendliness: Has ice cream and other desserts for kids

Cultivate has great coffee and a wonderfully friendly staff. Also, their house-made syrups are great and not-too-sweet. (You can take your kids here for ice-cream or some other treat and post up at one of the two couch areas while you enjoy your coffee.)

We get wholesale bags and brew the light & medium roasts at our coworking space. Our members love it & ask when we're brewing Cultivate Coffee during other rotations.

Love the pastries here. We tried the maple donut, apple fritters and earl grey scone. All was delicious. I’m from Raleigh but if I’m any where nearby, I always make a stop here to pick up some treats to take home.
