I was greeted as I came in, and the man behind the counter was nice and answered all my questions. He suggested I get the Boss sandwich, he said it was one of the most popular sandwiches. I loved my sandwich, the ingredients where fresh, and the bread was great. I do wish there were more types of bread, but the one they do have is good nonetheless. There's a sit down area, but I got mine to-go. Slightly on the pricey side, but not too bad for the size of sandwich you get. I'd come back here.

If you’re only open 7 on a Friday, don’t get upset when someone walks in at 6:55. It’s very clear what you think and feel when you stare and me with a frustrated look and then look at the clock. Stay open later than normal dinner time if you don’t want people coming in right before you close. WOW! Do better to your patrons.

Could have been due to the fact that my visit was close to closing time, but the bread selection was dismal. They had hard white bread and 6 inches of wheat. I probably should have left at that point, but I chose the white bread and it basically took the sandwich down a few notches. I will be back to give them another shot, and if my next experience is better, I'll update the review.

It’s a good place to grab a quick sub. Customer service is top notch. It’s still a fast food establishment

I had a doctors appointment and me and my daughter were looking for a place to eat. She found this place. And I am so glad she did. I am always looking for a good sandwich spot. The sandwiches are fresh, they even bake their own bread! I had another doctor’s appt 2 weeks later and stopped in again because it was so good! If you’re looking for a good sandwich spot. Try this place! You won’t be disappointed!

I love the original sub shop sandwich’s!! You can NEVER go wrong with the way these are put together and finished by wrapping in the paper and masking tape!
Absolutely delicious and worth the price! Huge fan!
Best subs around. WOW.
The employees were super unhelpful. They also put WAYYYY too much salt on my $17 sandwich that went straight into the garbage can because it was inedible. And the lettuce they used was yellow from sitting out for so long

This place hands down makes the best and biggest subs in the area if not the entire Triangle. It's locally owned and operated, the kid who owns it looks to be about 12 but he can make killer subs. The restaurant itself is always super clean and tidy and service is almost top notch. They are very friendly and work hard to get your order exactly right.
My favorite sub is I think #14 the Jersey Devil. It has soooo much meat. The first one I took home I weight it and it was 3lbs. If you go to Subway you are lucky if your sub is half a pound and pretty much costs the same. There is a photo of one on the scale topping out at 2lbs10oz.
The subs are so big I always have them quarter them for me and they pretty much make four meals. The most epic thing I did once was order one for a motorcycle trip then I rode straight to the top of Mt. Mitchell where I enjoyed one of these subs.
My only beef I have with them...they have a loyalty program. I always get the Jersey Devil which is one of the most expensive subs at $17 (was $13 when they first opened). This is not a problem because it's so much food. So I was in there and went to redeem my free sub and I had my kids and they usually get a small ham sub or a turkey sub which is about $8. I checked out and went on my way but didn't notice until I got home that they redeemed my free sub for $8 instead of the big one!!! Of all the places Ive ever been with loyalty programs they always give you the most expensive one for free....I guess here you have to make a separate order to do that. Felt like my loyalty got taken advantage of. Lesson learned.
