Food was awful. Really bad. Pork fried rice tasted burnt. Chicken super chewy like.

This place was my go-to back in 08-11 and then I started going to another place. I’ve ordered there the last half dozen or so times I’ve had Chinese food and it’s really good and consistant. They deserve a better rating.

For take out Chinese food it was amazing!I have been disappointed with the Asian food over here, because there was such a great selection where I came from. One of the perks from living in the Seattle area is that there is a large Asian population, so the demand for good Asian food is much higher than here in the Raleigh area. It was becoming quite disappointing to go to Asian restaurants here and have sub par food. I'm glad I found this place. Jumbo China reminds me of some of the good Asian take out places from where I grew up.The pork fried rice was on the same level as the best pork fried rice I have had where I grew up.The sesame chicken was very good. I have had better in Seattle, but not here in North Carolina. Plus it was better than my average experience taste wise in Seattle. So, while not as good as the pork fried rice, it was still delicious. The egg roll... I'm not a fan of egg rolls, so I'm not the best at giving them a review. I have had better, but I would say they weren't bad, just average...*Understand that Sit down Asian restaurants are very different than take out restaurants... I don't rate a take out restaurants the same as a sit down one. Different factors are taken into account, and quite honestly I don't expect as high of quality due to them not being able to control when the food will be eaten vs a sit down restaurant having the food eaten immediately after it being made. things have to be made differently due to that being the case, so I'm only comparing it to other Chinese take out restaurants.*

The only reason we got take out from here was because the one we usually go to was closed for the day. I began eating my sesame chicken with fried rice, and almost choked because I felt a hard sharp object in my throat. So glad for my quick reflexes. Certainly a turn off, and will not be returning ? . Food was good but overpriced, also the menus are just wrong in price so ask. Personally it’s just not for me.

We were quite a ways out of town, so delivery was not available. So we knew we would be picking up when I placed the order. They did not give me an estimated time how long it would take. But Chinese is usually pretty fast. So I figured it would be waiting by the time I got there. It was not. I still had to wait another 10 minutes! On top of the 25 it took me to get there. They seemed busy-ish but I thought this was way slow.----------------------The food:The Crab Rangoons and shrimp rolls seemed nice, fresh, and were good. The rest was good enough, I can't say the best I've ever had, but far from the worst.

In the past food we pretty good. Went the other day and very disappointing. Gen Tso's chicken seemed to be 90% fried bread with no chicken. Not sure how they can think to serve 1-2 pieces with chicken in an order that has dozens of pieces with the rest fried breading/dough is acceptable. Won't be eating there again - too many other good places where food is quality and not hidden behind bland sauces and filler

We have ordered food four times in the past three weeks and never had a bad experience. BEST EGGROLLS! Large servings on combination plates at a reasonable price too.

Jumbo China had the best Chinese food I've eaten in a very long time. The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating is the service. I only went there 4 times on my work visit to the area, each time I waited over 30 minutes to pick up a call in order. The food on the other hand is amazing.
