Food was delicious. Fresh empanadas, fresh fries and delicious roasted chicken. The service was amazing- the waitress was attentive and gave us a free sample of the custard dessert. We were in and out in 45 mins and had a fresh, home cooked meal.

Little Portugal is a true gem in Fuquay-Varina! The food is delicious, the owner is literally so nice and cares for every person eating at the restaurant. My favorite meal is the charred chicken with a salad!

My husband and I after looking up the hours for today 5/30/25 saying its open until 7 drove 40 minutes to eat at Little Portugal only to pull up & see a “we are closed today”sign! Very poor for business! They are not open much to begin with! That’s why we checked the website. It should of been updated that they were going to be closed 👎

A little gem in the Quay!!! Authentic and delicious dishes prepared, cooked, and served by Rosemary (the owner) who hails from Long Island…she has made a great name for herself in our area and I highly recommend stopping by for a great meal!!!

Will try it again as our experience was not as good as most who reviewed. We ordered two of the same dishes. Supplies were low but we were able to order what we wanted. Long wait for lunch on a weekday, about 45 minutes. Our order was incorrect when it arrived but it was fixed. It was somewhat busy but only one person running which is why there was a wait. The food was good, just ordered chicken with rice. Don't recommend if you are on a lunch break and need to return to work within an hour. Will go back when we have more time.

Fresh surprise here in Fuquay!! So delicious. Amazing flavors, very fresh food. We were so pleasantly surprised and happy that we decided to try someplace new! We will definitely be back!

This was our first exposure to Portuguese food. The chicken was prepared well, and I enjoyed both the chicken and ground beef empanadas. Fresh salad on the side.

The pork and potato dish was just like true Portuguese fashion, an abundance of food! Lol, however, the potatoes and meat were dry. Which does tend to be a little Portuguese. But too dry for us. But the codfish cakes and pastry with beef inside was absolutely phenomenal! Perfectly cooked. The puff pastry was full of meat! And absolutely delicious. Great value for the price. The staff is absolutely delightful. The atmosphere is friendly and homey. Worth driving in from North Raleigh.

I like the food here, but customer service is awful. I called to place an order over the phone and was told that the order will be ready in 30 minutes. I went to the restaurant and asked if my order was ready. The lady there told me that the owner wasn’t back yet and my order wasn’t going to be prepared until the owner gets back. I didn’t think this was a professional way to handle business
