Nil's Mediterranean Cuisine

Nil’s Mediterranean Cuisine is outstanding! I’ve used them for several years for work events and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. They’re also happy to make custom accommodations when needed, which I truly appreciate. Highly recommend for both everyday meals and catering! Tan and his team are awesome!

We had such a great experience at Nil’s in Fuquay! The food was incredible and they had tons of gluten-free options, which is always a huge plus for our family. The owner, Tan, was so kind—he even gave our 1-year-old daughter a baby purée pouch. Such a thoughtful gesture that really made our visit extra special! The atmosphere was absolutely amazing—modern, cozy, and full of character. You can tell a lot of heart went into creating a space that feels both welcoming and unique. Every staff member we met was friendly and attentive. We’re already looking forward to checking out their new Angier location when it opens. Highly recommend Nil’s for delicious Mediterranean food and top-notch hospitality!

Walked in, staff continued to walk past me and never offered to help me. A female came in moments later and someone immediately walked up to her and said can I help you. I just turned and walked out the restaurant! Do they have favorites there? I will never go in there again!!!

I ordered a gyro, the chicken tasted like it was made yesterday, not fresh after a 15min wait. Just not my favorite from my previous experiences with Mediterranean elsewhere. It was also $17 after tax.

I have always loved and enjoyed dining at Nil’s, but unfortunately, tonight will be my last night. A group of friends and I decided to dine-in. I ordered a dish and asked the cashier for gyro meat. When I received the dish, it was chicken. I don’t mind chicken, but I specifically ordered gyro meat. I asked the cashier if I could have what I actually ordered. She said “yes. I’ll bring some on the side since you don’t mind the chicken.” Perfect. 10 minutes goes by, nothing. I go back to ask her again and she goes into the kitchen. She returns to me and says, “the owner said he’s not replacing it, so there’s nothing we can do.” He comes from behind the kitchen and stares at me. Creepy. I left and will not be back. My company tends to order a plethora of dishes for birthday, Christmas, and meeting luncheons. But I will soon change that. Disappointed and disgusted.

Food is outstanding the but the dicso and techno music selected by the sweaty 18 year olds that work there is horrific. . Appropriate for a discotek definitely, but not a place you go to eat and relax. I asked if they could calm down the music and the 18 yr olds did ...for one song then it was right baqck to BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. nerve wracking and ruins an otherwise good experience. Share some great traditional mideastern ethnic music that woudl be relaxing and interesting. I would eat there more often if not for the music. Some friends shared the same opinion. I get the spotify channel thing yet I am a musician and have yet to hear anything thta rmotley resembles jazz. Techno does not fit into a jazz category.

Positive reviews are baffling to me. Ordered a gyro-burrito hybrid for lunch around 11:30 a.m. Somehow it took 45 minutes to make (this spot would be run out of the northeast on this fact alone).

Anyways, I received my food and it was not possible to eat as a handheld. The whole thing was soggy and splitting apart—had to transfer to a salad bowl. And the icing on the cake? The beef was basically raw.

Oh and did I mention it was $18? 😂

Great food. Nice cozy place to have a meal. My friends and i visited on a weekend. Able to find a table easily and we enjoyed the food

Customer service is lacking.
You must order your food then sit. Then it's brought out to you. Nobody to come take your order at the table. With a simple tweak to that,
5 Stars.
The food was Quite Authentic.

I love the response from the business. I guess they can’t take harsh criticism without getting offended. And the parent shaming calling my kids "unchecked.” Noted, we will not be eating here again.

Many people recommended this place, and to my surprise, the food was not food. The meat on the sliders was dry, overcooked, and tasted chalky. The bun tasted like a Hawaiian bun and not a brioche. It wasn’t toasted, so the wet ingredients made it soggy. My husband's wrap was the same way; the meat wasn’t tasty, the wrap was soggy, it wasn’t folded correctly so all the meat was on one side and toppings on the other. He said in order to get a good bite he took one from one side and moved to the other to get sauce on the meat. Overall it wasn’t worth the hype.

They only have two high chairs so if you’re coming with a baby and no stroller be prepared to hold them.

We ordered their thanksgiving dinner for two everything was delicious, besides for the dessert. Pickup service was really organized and service was great! The only downside was the pie we received. We opted for two pumpkin pie slices and they offered us a whole pie because it has not cooled enough to cut. The pie never firmed or set. It was super soft and runny. Even after putting it back in the oven for additional time. So sadly we did not get dessert that night but overall the food and dinner was great. Will be ordering again, next time I'll pick up a backup pie 🙂

Hands down favorite place to go! The lentil soup and gambos ajillo are meticulously seasoned and perfectly cooked. Love that I can go and unwind there after a long day of work or enjoy a nice lunch on Saturday.

This is my third visit here.

This time, I wanted a smaller portion, so I ordered a "kid's meal" that included rice, chicken kebab, and gyro.

Unfortunately, the rice tasted awful, and the chicken kebab was completely tasteless and dry; I would say it was the worst chicken kebab I've ever had.

They keep changing the menu, and I preferred what they offered back in 2022 :(
