Absolutely amazing food, cooked to perfection and atmosphere!!!
Nil’s is incredible. Absolutely mouth watering. J get the salmon bowl pretty much every time. It’s divine. The pita and hummus and chicken salad are really good too. Just go, trust me!
Nil’s is our favorite place to eat. The food is always delicious and fresh. We frequent them often and just tried their new location in Angier yesterday. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend!
The atmosphere was light and friendly, the staff attentive and pleasant, and the food...delicious!
The food was quite good, although a bit pricey for what you get. This restaurant follows a self-service model where you place your order at the counter. However, it was uncomfortable to have the staff member who took my order stand by and watch as I decided whether to tip, (which I did 18%) especially since it isn't a full-service establishment. They never checked in to see if everything was satisfactory or cleaned the table. Tipping is a courtesy for good service, not a requirement. Very disappointed, unfortunately I won't be going back.
Nil’s Mediterranean Cuisine is outstanding! I’ve used them for several years for work events and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. They’re also happy to make custom accommodations when needed, which I truly appreciate. Highly recommend for both everyday meals and catering! Tan and his team are awesome!
We had such a great experience at Nil’s in Fuquay! The food was incredible and they had tons of gluten-free options, which is always a huge plus for our family. The owner, Tan, was so kind—he even gave our 1-year-old daughter a baby purée pouch. Such a thoughtful gesture that really made our visit extra special! The atmosphere was absolutely amazing—modern, cozy, and full of character. You can tell a lot of heart went into creating a space that feels both welcoming and unique. Every staff member we met was friendly and attentive. We’re already looking forward to checking out their new Angier location when it opens. Highly recommend Nil’s for delicious Mediterranean food and top-notch hospitality!
highly recommend. delicious food. everything fresh and so flavorful. very mindful of dietary restrictions without compromising on flavor and uniqueness of the dishes.
Every time my friend visits my sister and me, we go to Nil’s to enjoy a chicken salad sandwich. All of us have been professional restauranteurs. In fact, my friend owned a restaurant for 40 years that won the James Beard American’s Classic Restaurant award in 2009 and 2011 and his long time chef won the James Beard Best Chef of the Southeast in 2009 and 2010. Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience this last time. My friend asked the nice young lady working the floor if she could clean our favorite window table. She said sure and proceeded to clear the table. She got caught up at the cash register and didn’t have time to wipe it down, so we sat down at the empty table and waited. The floor manager yelled across the room- MA’AM, MA’AM we’re not finished cleaning off that table. Then she aggressively sprayed bleach spray and angrily banged the extra chairs against the wall before stomping off. When she brought our food to the table she dropped it and stormed off without asking if we needed anything else. When I went to the restroom, she glared at me. It was a very uncomfortable and a humiliating experience. Needless to say, we all know how to behave in a restaurant and would never dream of treating a guest in a way that wasn’t hospitable. What’s wrong with “Hello, let me wipe down this table for you”? So sad that a memorable ritual that we all enjoyed will never happen again. Instead we will have a good chicken salad sandwich at my home, and I will never be bullied at Nil’s again!
Walked in, staff continued to walk past me and never offered to help me. A female came in moments later and someone immediately walked up to her and said can I help you. I just turned and walked out the restaurant! Do they have favorites there? I will never go in there again!!!

I ordered a gyro, the chicken tasted like it was made yesterday, not fresh after a 15min wait. Just not my favorite from my previous experiences with Mediterranean elsewhere. It was also $17 after tax.

I have always loved and enjoyed dining at Nil’s, but unfortunately, tonight will be my last night. A group of friends and I decided to dine-in. I ordered a dish and asked the cashier for gyro meat. When I received the dish, it was chicken. I don’t mind chicken, but I specifically ordered gyro meat. I asked the cashier if I could have what I actually ordered. She said “yes. I’ll bring some on the side since you don’t mind the chicken.” Perfect. 10 minutes goes by, nothing. I go back to ask her again and she goes into the kitchen. She returns to me and says, “the owner said he’s not replacing it, so there’s nothing we can do.” He comes from behind the kitchen and stares at me. Creepy. I left and will not be back. My company tends to order a plethora of dishes for birthday, Christmas, and meeting luncheons. But I will soon change that. Disappointed and disgusted.

Food is outstanding the but the dicso and techno music selected by the sweaty 18 year olds that work there is horrific. . Appropriate for a discotek definitely, but not a place you go to eat and relax. I asked if they could calm down the music and the 18 yr olds did ...for one song then it was right baqck to BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. nerve wracking and ruins an otherwise good experience. Share some great traditional mideastern ethnic music that woudl be relaxing and interesting. I would eat there more often if not for the music. Some friends shared the same opinion. I get the spotify channel thing yet I am a musician and have yet to hear anything thta rmotley resembles jazz. Techno does not fit into a jazz category.

This is a nice joint. We enjoyed our food, expect the chicken dish as it was too dry.

Positive reviews are baffling to me. Ordered a gyro-burrito hybrid for lunch around 11:30 a.m. Somehow it took 45 minutes to make (this spot would be run out of the northeast on this fact alone).
Anyways, I received my food and it was not possible to eat as a handheld. The whole thing was soggy and splitting apart—had to transfer to a salad bowl. And the icing on the cake? The beef was basically raw.
Oh and did I mention it was $18? 😂
