3 stars because of the servers. I asked for scrambled eggs. It's just a fried egg cut up. No biggie. I saw reviews about grits not having flavor. They are not liars. No amount of butter salt and pepper helped so that was a waste of money. Fatback extremely salty. Country ham was so salty I had to spit it out. Pancakes were huge and my daughter liked them. Link sausage was not whqt I thought for country cooking. We won't be back.

We ordered the patty melt and breakfast burger specials. Burger and egg were done to order and the bacon jam really stood out. ☺️

This was our first time at Big Ed's and our server, Chissy, was fantastic. She was so efficient and genuinely friendly. Our food was all fantastic as well. We will definitely be back.

For 32.00 for 2 people was not worth the price. Pancake was dry and bland, biscuit was dough i side was told that's how they make them. Grits we meh at best. Order a to go order for corn beef hash was told it would be a lg chef spatula size and it was 6oz. I weight it on my baking scale it was 2.7 oz. Over med eggs was the only good thing. Sadly this is a place we will return to.

I’m not sure how this place is so highly reviewed. We went for breakfast and were very disappointed. The grits are watery, the food was not hot. Overall disappointing.

Let’s get one thing straight: I have only heard of this place in passing and it never gets the praise it deserves.
The beef bologna biscuit?! Flawless.
The fried Cajun chicken biscuit?! Unbelievable.
If you haven’t been here yet, you’re doing yourself a disservice. I’d call it a local Cracker Barrel. That’s what it’s most similar to, but it stands on its own as an incredible restaurant in the area and I will go out of my way to come here from now on.
Kudos to the entire place!

Incredibly disappointed. Grits had zero flavor, server made us feel dumb, over all the food was cold. Only positive was the French toast was good. Unfortunate as we are newly locals but will not be coming back.

Ordered the Prime Rib take-out and they either gave me the wrong order or weren't paying any attention at all to what I ordered. Now, I have some chicken/turkey mess that looks like my cat barfed it up for my dinner. I'm for sure not eating it and will now have to go order something else or unpack a box in order to make dinner. Talk about inconvenience. I will be going back with whatever this disaster in a box is on Saturday or Sunday for a full refund. I'm really not thrilled with having this take up space in my refrigerator when I'm already short on space from moving. Absolutely ridiculous.
