Found myself in Garner this morning for an errand and popped into Big Ed’s for breakfast. Coffee was solidly good, fresh spinach in the omelet and hot crispy home fries. Loved sitting at the bar and chatting up the waitress - service was great!! Will come back.

Big Ed's is definitely going to become our go-to spot for comfort food. Everything was delicious, the service was great, and the price was remarkably inexpensive for the amount of food we ate. To top it off, the banana pudding was the best I've ever had!

10/10 every visit. Southern hospitality is always top notch— BEST local comfort food around. Seated immediately, server greeted us with a big smile and evidently very happy to be at work (which is a huge plus these days). Pot roast dinner special melted in my mouth, cabbage seasoned just right, rice & gravy all delicious. Warm banana pudding with the best biscuits. On my way out I accidentally dropped my entire togo box…staff was very kind even accommodating by giving me a fresh new meal to take home still, without extra charge. Big Ed’s takes care of their customers, support local!

I will never spend my money here again. My plate was the smallest portion I ever seen before. I wish I would have took a picture of it. I got a vegetable plate and it was not worth it y all! The portion size was a rip off and if you want to get your moneys worth do not come to this place!!
