Buffalo Brothers of White Oak

We ordered an array of finger foods. Tenders, cheese fries, pizza, macho nachos and the hot potato salad and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Everything was made correctly per our order and it all arrived at the same time. One of the better dining experiences I've had post-covid. I only leave reviews if I'm appalled or very satisfied....thanks for the latter Buffalo Brothers !

Service is great, but their food is terrible. I've been here 2 times, the first time we had boneless wings and fries, the wings were similar, but way worse than the boneless bites from Sheetz (which I actually like), but triple the price. The fries were disgusting, they were crinkle cut and tasted reheated, but were served at almost room temperature. 2nd time we tried the pizza, that was disgusting. It tasted like a piece of cardboard with sweet sauce, and the meatballs were bland. The service is great though, and they have outdoor seating which is nice, but there is absolutely no view.

We visited this restaurant the day after enjoying an incredible meal at Second Empire in Raleigh, which, in hindsight, set the bar a bit too high. The service and food were unremarkable, but it wasn’t all bad. I came to appreciate its affordability and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a reasonable option for a casual outing.

I tried the phiily steak and cheese to go. It came with a nice soggy wet bun and the inside was average at best. I ordered a drink as well that came in the smallest cup I've ever received from a business, and they charge $3 for that. The whole meal was overpriced for what you get compared to other businesses. The drink was a rip off.

What a difference a year makes. I've always enjoyed the food and atmosphere, but I don't think we'll be back. At least three or four times recently we've been seated and then had to flag down the waitstaff after being ignored for a quarter hour. Tonight there wasn't anyone at the host desk, and all the waitstaff avoided eye contact when they walked by, until we decided to just leave. I understand if the restaurant is understaffed, and I'm sure everyone is working hard. But it shouldn't be this difficult to actually get food, or even acknowledgment.

Every time we go to this location, the staff at the front door immediately acknowledge us and smile. More often that not, we are seated right away. Once seated, our server comes over and introduces themselves. The staff is friendly and great and the food is always delicious and freshly made. It's one of our favorite places to sit down and eat.

We loved the food and the Hurricanes memorabilia on display there. Awesome Canes bobblehead display. We loved the variety of food and appetizers. Too much good food to choose from. Would totally recommend!
