He's very responsive to all our questions and the day of event him and his staff are VERY professional! We are so grateful for their service!

We didn’t hire Chinelo’s catering service but we did reserve their event center. I am leaving this review to share my experience with the owners Miguel and Carlos and their bad business practices and lack of professionalism. In January of this year, I reserved the event space for my event at the end of May, I followed all of their instructions: provided a signed contract and consequently provided the $500 deposit through Zelle to secure our reservation. The day I sent the contract, I also had a conversation through text with him as well as a call where I told him I would be sending the deposit in a couple minutes. I did just that, sent the deposit within minutes of speaking to him. The beginning of May rolls around and I reach out to the owner to ask some questions I had. He tells me that they can’t find my reservation. I provided proof that I sent the deposit. Then they call me to tell me that they didn’t record my date and they rented the venue to somebody else. I don’t know who I spoke to because the number had caller ID as Carlos but I believe I was speaking to Miguel. From the beginning of the call the tone of voice was extremely condescending. He said it was our fault for not adding a memo with the deposit stating the date and/or name. However, he never asked for us to include a memo. During the phone call, he kept talking over me and would not let me get a word across. He never apologized for their error. We asked that they keep the reservation for us as we reserved it before the other individuals and he refused. We told him we would speak with a lawyer to which he replied “What’s your lawyer going to do? You won’t have your event either way.” I asked my father in law to speak to him as I thought he would let him speak and not cut him off as he did to me but he did the exact same thing to him. Completely rude and unprofessional. He argued that he receives many payments every day and it was not possible for him to verify with each client whether a payment was from them. Admitting this proves that they do not maintain good business practices. After trying to reason with him with no success, he offered to move my event to a different date or he could help me find a different venue. I chose the latter option as I did not want to have my event at their venue anymore. Be wary of them as these people do not honor their contracts and will not admit their mistakes. Dealing with them was a nightmare. They provided contact info to other event venues and at the end we had our event at a different (much better) venue.

What an outstanding experience. After lots of reading and research and reviews being read my wife and I finally chose Chinelos for catering our daughters wedding. What an incredible choice. The entire experience from first appointment end of reception was amazing. The display and fruit/meat/cheese display was beautiful. The attention from the serving staff was absolutely top notch. The food was fantastic! We had lots of comments from guests about how good the food was and had multiple guests ask us for the contact info for the caterers. With the other stresses of a wedding day, this was one thing we didn’t even have to give a second thought. This experience was amazing and the best experience I have had with a catering company in this price range ever.
