I will never understand why restaurants fry everything in the same fryer. This limits those of us who have seafood allergies to what we can eat. After having to settle for something else, which was the spaghetti, I threw most of it away because it wasn't good. It wasn't seasoned, and it made my stomach ache. My wife had a vegetable plate and said everything tasted like it came straight out the can. She threw her entire plate away after taking a couple of bites. They were nice people but what we had just wasn't good.

Very disappointed. Nothing BBQ about this place. Sullen cashier, no utensils. “Pork rib sandwich” was 3, day-old ribs and 2 slices of bread. Not even hot. My wife found her mac&cheese inedible. Okra was from frozen. What’s the point of a half-baked restaurant like this? Fast food joints put more care into the food than this place.

My son grabbed me a side a chitterlings. They were so freaking good. Now here I am on a Monday wishing this place was open. I’m gonna have to go in myself and try different things. Those chitterlings was amazing

Omg! Please, please! Don't change anything about your fried oysters, absolutely delicious! It was my 1st time here, I've been meaning to try it, and so happy I did. The panko batter was light, not greasy, perfectly seasoned and fresh large oysters. I've tried oysters at SOOO many places, but this place is "ON POINT" you couldn't do them any better. Perfectly priced for the portion too.Thank you...finally got a place for my "GO TO"

We saw the ad for this restaurant in the Clipper magazine .Good southern soul food is hard to find. Once we studied the menu and discovered that they have turkey legs, we knew we had to go.The menu is offering several options, the service was very fast and the food was delicious. The price was affordable.The owner came over and had a little chat with us. Very nice man. All in all this was a very nice experience. We'll be back!

I had food to take home to eat later tonight.everything was great, hot, cake moist, friendly customers, staff is smiling and willing to get you what you want. Mr. Demarios walked around talking to customers. The place was full and takeout order was free flowing from the order window.

I had the turkey wing dinner with fried okra and collard greens. Also shared chitterlings and honey bun cake with the wife. Everything was good and on point. The staff was really nice and friendly. I will return in the future.
