Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Do not spend your money here, they do not honor any of the signage “deals” they have- said so even when the signs were outside on front lawn. I got a cheesesteak meal with an orangeade. ORANGEADE TASTED OLD (like spoiled orange juice) and was mixed in a mystery container with no clear markings it was disgusting and I could not push myself to take more than a sip. The orangeade is my usual favorite, I think they have it there sitting for weeks. Cheesesteak and fries could be better.

I have to say compared to 6 months ago, they have definitely improving and changing for the better. Everything was so hot. Will definitely be going back

Really wish I had read the reviews b4 I went there, tha AC was broken, the place didn't look very clean, tha food was not very good (grilled chicken didn't even look grilled, maybe microwaved, also the shrimp in the po-boys sandwich just didn't taste right), my wife and I should have gone to Wendy's

Best service in town

Hot inside w/ no ac , no ice in drinks melted before it got to our table , watched server clean other table and take dirty dishes to back then immediately grab our utensils and plates . We were not able to get everything that the menu said came with the platter that I ordered after it was brought to my table , the lettuce on my wife's sandwich was dark brown and old looking .

Paid $26 for two burgers and two regular size fries. The burgers weren't even cooked fresh. Had been sitting in some type of warmer.

The food was just as desirable as the atmosphere. They were both gross. My chili cheese fries were runny and there was hardly any chili on them. They were also limp and not toasty at all. I ate a few and that was it. The burger was cold. This was a total waste of my money which came to almost $40. Nothing was labeled with a Hwy 55 logo and they did not look anything like other franchises. I will never go there again.

My family and I (there are 7 of us) have frequented this restaurant for many years. A friend took me here recently and I doubt I will ever go back. This particular restaurant was filthy. The floor was nasty and the table we were seated at looked like it had not been wiped down for a week. The mirror on the wall that runs for the entire length of one side is filthy with grease. The cups our drinks came in were coated with grease which you were reminded of every time you picked them up. The food was decent enough and the waitress was attentive. But the overall uncleanliness is just not one of those things you can have in an establishment where you will be eating. If this is how dirty things are that I can see, I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen and food prep area is.

Honestly, I’m surprised this place is even open poor girl that worked there was very nice but the environment was like they’ve been closed stuff everywhere. I’m assuming the owner at the front who greeted me said you can sit wherever so I sat down. No one was here. Wanted to wash my hands before my cheeseburger came out, went in the bathroom and Wasn’t clean very dirty run down zero soap zero paper towels the cheeseburger came out and honestly didn’t really want to eat it, but figured I’d take a bite. Very disappointing. I will never come back here.

We love hwy 55, but this location is horrible!!
The service was slow, and waiter was unfamiliar with how to service customers.
The tea was rancid tasting, soda was flat, shrimp po-boy was unedible. Shrimp tasted spoiled, and the sauce was NOT the regular sauce. It literally turned my stomach!! Couldn't eat it for fear of getting sick. Still paid over $15 with tax for this uneaten meal.
I would NOT recommend this location to anyone.
