I was looking for a good NY pizza spot in the area and was disappointed by many. Finally got to La Roma and it was what I'd been missing in NC. The garlic knots were just okay but the pizza was more than worth going back.

We have used La Roma for some time as their pizza is very good. However on our take out order tonight, we asked to order and pay for extra meat toppings and the toppings to go further to the edge, as we have done MANY times with no issue. But tonight the owner was there and told my husband that we shouldn't order that way. He said his pizza was art, he has been doing this for 27 years, and to do what we were asking would totally mess up the crust. Even though we've done this before with no problem. He argued with my husband over the way we ordered our pizzas. He was very rude and condescending. We will never order here again. We just wanted our pizza the way we wanted our pizza. To get confronted aggressively when just placing a pizza order is ridiculous. Life is way too short. No thanks La Roma - get a grip. The last thing people want at the end of a long day is to be harangued about their pizza order.

I’ve tried to give this another chance but the customer service is horrible. They hardly open or wanna take orders. The way the business is being run they won’t be in business for too long. Stop hiring people who don’t wanna work.Tried to place an order over the phone before they close. Wouldn’t take my order. Tf. Don’t advertise something on the menu and not provide it too the customer

Definitely my favorite pizza place in Raleigh Garner area the pizza is the best( 2017 )Edit:Something has changed my last 3 visits my pizza have been subpar.. I've decided to go with Marco pizza this last month even though it's a farther drive..2023My last few trips back here have been amazing I think the change of staff was the issue and they are definitely back to what I remember
