I have visited Mi Peru several times and the quality of the food has been excellent. The service provided by Miguel has been outstanding, explaining in detail the menu, and making recommendations based on our preferences. All the staff are well prepared and Miguel made us feel as home.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have a different gastronomical experience. The “chaufa rice”, and the “ceviche” are amazing.

Had such a great time at this Peruvian spot! The food was so good, I’m still thinking about the ceviche and lomo saltado. It was just super flavored. But honestly, what made the experience even better was our waiter, Miguel. He was super friendly, easy to talk to, and really funny. Plus, it really helped the fact that he was hispanic because he really knew the foods on the menu and made great recommendations to us.

We had the pleasure of being served by Miguel during our recent visit to their Garner location, and I can confidently say he made the entire dining experience very pleasant. From the moment we were seated, he was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional.
Miguel offered thoughtful recommendations, and made sure our dietary preferences were accommodated without hesitation. We tried the Lomo Saltado and Chaufa Mixto and they were both delicious.
Highly recommend asking for Miguel if you’re planning to dine at Mi Peru in Garner, you won’t be disappointed!

We had the Ceviche Appetizer, Lomo Saltado and Chicha Morrada. I’m Peruvian and from Miami and I’ve had these dishes plenty of times in my house and in restaurants.

Food - Peruvian food tastes good, always has. However the price ($22 for a plate of Lomo Saltado) is a bit egregious, there’s better options. They did also, run out of drinkable water somehow? The table next to us has water and haas refills but we didn’t.

Service - Waiter was horrible, he was too busy talking to his coworker and sitting down on his phone in the back behind a plant to even know we were here. He gave us our appetizer without giving us utensils and didn’t even say a word and just brought it back later after again, being on his phone for a bit. As I mentioned earlier, they ran out of water, which should’ve been communicated earlier when we sat down since we ordered spicy food, at least we ordered Chicha so that we weren’t thirsty, they should’ve communicated they ran out of water earlier. While mentioning the Chicha I also have to say that the waiter forgot to bring it, he forgets utensils, doesn’t talk or even say hi as he drops stuff in front of you. You might as well have one of those robots that the chef puts food on and then drives itself to your table. At least the robot wouldn’t have an attitude.

Atmosphere - Unwelcoming and basic

Ultimately, go to a different peruvian restaurant, this place sucks and they don’t want your business

There is so much more to Perú food than this. The green sauce was delicious! The beef needed some native spices. Entrees were served before appetizers. I think this restaurant can do better. Green sauce with everything!!

This was the worse Peruvian food I’ve had, i know because I’m from south Florida. The chicken wasn’t fully cooked, their side options were not a lot to choose from, and their yellow sauce tasted terrible
