We've been ordering pizza from Oak City Pizza in Garner NC for 4 years now. Most of the time the pizza was excellent, occasionally it was undercooked. Our most recent ordered turned into a huge fiasco. They won't take phone orders any longer, so I had to order from their webpage. Their order page was powered by Chow Now, and after I placed the order it said the delivery will be through Door Dash (they used to do their own deliveries). After waiting for more than an hour it said that the pizza was on it's way. We live 3 miles away, so after 30 mins I called the store. Stephen told me that the Door Dash person delivered my order to someone else. I told him to cancel the order, and he began telling me repeatedly that they weren't at fault at all, and that I would have to cancel the order with Door Dash. He refused to accept any blame even though I ordered straight from OakCity.com, and then he hung up on me. They have lost a very long term loyal customer.

ordered the chicken alfredo off of grub hub. it was not worth the money and very disappointing. the chicken was very dry and tasted old, the sauce was bland and watery, and it did not specify that it came with spaghetti noodles. a lot of their other seems overpriced as well i don't think i will be ordering from them again

Hands down the best pizza I’ve had since moving from Mass to NC. The sweet sauce is my absolute favorite and my Husband asked for the pizza to be shaped as a heart to top it off!

The pizza was fantastic. Crispy but not closed to burnt with a sizeable amount of toppings. Also had some of the honey Sriracha wings which I highly recommend. Definitely going back!

Originally 2 stars. But after reading the response from the owners, I moved to 1 star.If you read my comment, it says I ordered GARLIC KNOTS, not wings. I PAID for garlic knots, I did not get garlic knots. While I would be grateful for these plain, unseasoned wings.... I would be more grateful if I received GARLIC KNOTS and you got my order right.To be clear as possible:I paid for Garlic Knots ...... I did not get garlic knots.I did NOT pay for wings..... I got wings.... but I didnt want them....I wanted my order to be correct.Also, dont let people order XL if you dont serve it.

Apparently this place was closed for memorial day. Their online ordering system, however, did not reflect this. After waiting for my food for an hour and a half, I called to see where it was. No answer. Called a couple times before figuring they were closed. So two hours after ordering my dinner I had to scramble to try and figure something out. This was not a good way to end our long weekend. Upon speaking to the manager I was told "Sorry, we don't know what happened". No offer of compensation for ruining our night other than a small discount on my next order. There will be no next order. The other times we've ordered the pizza was good, but I won't support a business that cares so little for keeping customers happy when they mess up big time.

They used to have good pizza.The pizza is mediocre at best now.I don't know what happens to the staff there but they are all rude.Try to get the attention of one of the; good luck.I've never witnessed such angry employees before.
I love the pizza, but last time I ordered delivery I waited for 2 hours for my meal to arrive. Not cool

The pizza was really soggy and the red sauce was SWEET!! Would be helpful if the menu mentioned the red sauce is on the sweeter side so there are no surprises/disappointments.

Really disappointed. My boyfriend and I have gotten pizza from here several times and think it's one of the best places in Garner for pizza, other than it being kind of pricey. We got the large pizza and wing deal, plus a GF pizza for me. The pizza was terrible, the toppings looked as if they were thrown on after baking. The crust was burnt. I didn't even get all the toppings that I requested and paid for. The sauce and cheese were minimal on both pizzas. We got lemon pepper wings and were only ok. I asked for buffalo sauce when I went to pick it up, they charged me $1 for a small ramekin of sauce. Once I got home, I realized I didn't even get the ranch I requested with the wings when I placed the order. I don't normally like to leave reviews, but this was an unfortunate experience, especially after paying $40 for take out pizza and leaving a generous tip. This one experience, has us discouraged from trying this place again.

Food is usually decent. Tonight no dressings included. Wings no dry rub or side of Buffalo sauce as requested. For all the delivery up charges food should alway be right. Drive couldn’t get in building after directions left food right in front of main entrance.

I have eaten pizza from here 3 different times now. The first time I was WOW-Ed!! The pizza was sooo good, the crust was crispy and you could taste subtle hints of the wood smokiness. I was bummed I hadn't eaten here before!! So I ordered a 2nd time. The 2nd time wasn't good - same pizza composition, but it wasn't cooked long enough and the dough was gooey and limp...I was incredibly disappointed. But I gave it one more chance. 3rd time was great again. Not as perfect as that first time, but close. I will let y'all know, if you're looking for great, classic, regular cheese or pepperoni pizza, this isn't the place. Order the specialty pizzas here - they are incredible. The NC BBQ is my favorite. Give it a try!
