Shotmakers Sports Bar and Billiards

Have been going to Shotmakers for about a year for TAP league and have participated in several cash tournaments.
Overall my experience has been great. The expanded space with additional tables, kitchen, and updated bathrooms is very nice (as a female who plays pool in several bars, having one with a nice bathroom is such a wonderful thing!). 9' Diamond tables that are maintained very well, a full bar, and the kitchen has continued to add menu items routinely.
Recently I was part of a large group of people celebrating a birthday and want to give a special shout-out to Sean who was instrumental in making it a successful evening. From several touch points in the weeks preceding the party to the actual night, and a follow up the next day, Sean was professional and very friendly. The cost was extremely reasonable too.
Would also love to shout-out to Katelynn, our usual bartender, for her always-friendly service and remembering my drink orders!

The renovation is stunning! The whole place feels so fresh and welcoming, and the string lights outside add the perfect cozy vibe. You can tell a lot of thought and effort went into every detail. The owners were so kind and friendly we’re excited to keep coming back, especially once the patio is all finished!

This was our first time coming in since the full renovation, and we were absolutely blown away! The space is beautiful you can really see how much hard work and care went into every detail. We’re super excited to see the outdoor patio get finished too! The owners were so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I had the meatloaf hoagie, and wow… I cannot wait to come back and get it again. Highly recommend!

SEAN IS AMAZING!! Awesome hospitality and service. Phenomenal attitude and a great change of pace from the humdrum of downtown Raleigh. MUST TRY! We came on a Wednesday night and we treated with the utmost care and the vibes were immaculate! We'll definitely be back!

Nickel and timing place. I just want to shoot pool but they want to charge forced gratuity and other fees. No thanks. I'll just use other places for quarters

Went here this evening. Had the displeasure of being berated by the blonde manager and her bald head friend, Josh, I think his name was. Had a friend with me who poured his beer a little too close to the pool table (not over the table and did not spill) and as someone who doesn’t drink in excess, is considerate of establishments, and rarely goes out I was blown away to see how they reacted ACROSS THE ROOM claiming he was “pouring his drink over the table”. The real issue was the bald headed friend of the manager chiming in loudly and repeatedly “that’s the manager” as if that changed the reality of the situation only further escalating the issue. All this as we repeatedly tried to tell the manager no problem we can pour farther away from the table. Of course it didnt end there, the manager’s scrawny Mr. Clean friend kept going on with ignorant insults to his fellow bar flies and casting gazes to continue escalating; even went so far as to make insults about our military, as I’m clearly a veteran. Pathetic. The crowd was rude (mainly the managers friends), the management was overbearing, and her little clique made it clear if you’re not a regular bar fly, this place doesnt welcome you. No matter, I rarely go to bars but I would absolutely steer clear of this one. They don’t welcome new guests and the manager’s friends cower in the corner trash talking paying guest and even trashing our military with heavy profanity making it not a place you can actually unwind.

Me and my bf came so he could play in the pool tournament this weekend and I can definitely say my first experience was great! It was a chill vibe, the food was awesome (no, seriously, make sure you order the BLT), and they have a jukebox machine where there's songs by selection!

First time going was last night ..and it was amazing....luved the atmosphere...people were nice and friendly ... bar staff...she rocked...she kept up with everyone...clean place...great food...we will be back...

I really enjoyed this place. The bathrooms are clean, the pool tables are new and well maintained. The pizza is delicious, the prices are very reasonable (both for the food and the pool tables, 3 dollars per person an hour during the day, 6 dollars per person an hour at night, unbeatable). Amanda works the day shift and is very intelligent and easy to talk to, she was the highlight of my experience. I hope to come back soon.

Stopped by to shoot pool and get a bite to eat, whole visiting from out of town. Staff was friendly, food was was ok; not excellent. Overall our visit was enjoyable. 🙂

There were plenty of pool tables available, And the folks that were there were friendly. I was a little disappointed that we arrived only to learn that the hall was going to be closing early (7pm) for Halloween, and that had not been advertised anywhere. Felt a little bit like a wasted trip.

Nice, quiet, and pleasant atmosphere. Margaritas were decent. Good prices.
