Had the smallest sizzling chicken and shrimp plate I have ever had. The portion size was a kids meal for $19. This dish has gone down hill. The taste was there but the portion was stupid! The chicken breast was about 3 ounces, the 6 shrimp was the size of a nickel, and the potatoes were two incredibly small servings. I could’ve ate it in less than 5 minutes, I took small tiny 2 yr old bites to make last. Give guest their moneys worth or reduce the price to 7.99

Waited for a table for about 15 minutes and watched as a couple came in, and because they knew the staff, they were seated immediately., I spoke up about what I witnessed and was told I would be seated soon. We were seated about another 5 minutes later, and the food was horrible.Went back a second time to give them a chance, and we were seated immediately, but the wait staff have attitudes, and the food was horrible once again.

Very much enjoyed dinner here. Waiter and staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was great and surprisingly fast! It could be where we were seated, but the atmosphere didn't scream excitement though. I believe if we were closer to the bar area, it might would have.

We went with a party of 12. At the hostess desk, we told them we had 12, possibly 13. They said ok, and gave a short wait time. When we got to our table, there were 10 chairs. We tried to pull in other chairs and asked about pulling in another table, but were told that their policy is that they do not seat more than 10 at a table. No one informed us of this at the front, and they were not busting at the seams with customers. We arrived at 4:00, so it was not rush time. There were plenty of chairs that were vacant and a small table sitting against a wall that had an empty bucket on it that the staff said they “never move” (the table). This seems like a bad policy and I noticed that they have an add on this page inviting groups to have their gatherings there. Just know that you can’t sit more than 10 people at a table. We had 12. Two extra chairs at the table would have accommodated us, or even adding the small table. But we had to have 2 people sit at a different table. The serving staff was nice. They were just doing what they were told. The manager is the one who enforced the ridiculous policy. We will think twice before going back to this restaurant - regardless of how many people are in our party.

I ordered a burger with no bacon, no cheese, no pickles, and salute onions. The first time the burger came with bacon, it had already taken a while for the burger to come so I had notified the server that the burger had bacon on it. I’m not trying to be picky but My religion does not eat pork. After she asks me if I had no bacon no cheese and no pickles I told her yes so she went to to tell the back of the house to make it that way. After receiving my order the second time, the burger had cheese, pickles, and regular onion. I did not even have the patience to wait for them to make me another burger as it took a long time the second time as well. The Mac n cheese I also ordered literally barley had macaroni in it it was just cheese 80% of it.It’s just poor service from the back of the house. Clearly the cooks don’t respect the way people want their food. It’s obvious that they are making the orders incorrectly on purpose. It’s pure laziness to be honest. Please train your back of the house properly on how to make the orders properly. I’m not going to bother an employee to make something they do not want to make. If it took you two tries I’m not about sit and wait and waste my time.I hope this does not happen with anyone else.

So in a nutshell, they need to hire more employees. The waitress forgot to add our appetizers to our order, so when I asked for it, it came out after our main entree was served. My ribs were burnt and dry. Service was super slow because our waitress was serving a ton of tables. Not her fault.

Employees not professional. Sitting around chatting while customers waiting. Most of all, dogs are allowed to be in the restaurant sitting at tables without identification that they are service animals. Area not sanitized when dog left. I Iove dogs, but not at the dinner table!

This was probably the worst meal I’ve ever had. The frozen potato skins that you make at home are better than what they served here. Server was really nice though, loved her. Treat your employees better. Eat anywhere else, not here.

My group was here for a late lunch/early dinner. We each got a burger that was good. For our wait to be seated, they gave us free chips and salsa. A nice surprise. The wait staff is pleasant and attentive.

TLDR: Bathrooms Dirty, Staff Issues, Food SubparOur visit to TGIF in Garner, NC, last night left much to be desired, especially considering the $20-30 per person we spent. As a party of four, we anticipated a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, our expectations were not met.Right from the start, our encounter with the hostess was less than ideal. Despite having already provided information to the hostess at the podium, we were asked redundant questions, which immediately soured our mood. Thankfully, our waitress, Mirella, did her best to mitigate the situation, despite her section being nearly full.Regarding the food, it was a disappointing affair. We ordered an array of dishes, including an 8oz sirloin steak cooked medium, Cajun shrimp and pasta, Philly cheesesteak, and baked salmon with an extra side of ribs to go. However, what arrived at our table was a mishmash of mix-ups. The only dish that met expectations was the Philly cheesesteak, which was flavorful and satisfying. Unfortunately, the salmon lacked the correct sides, and we were charged for jasmine rice that never materialized. The Cajun shrimp and pasta left an unpleasant aftertaste reminiscent of stomach bile, while the steak was the worst offender. It seemed to have been improperly prepared, resulting in a bland, spongy texture with little flavor.Adding to our disappointment was the extensive wait time of 45 minutes before our food was nearly ready. Our waitress, Mirella, bore the brunt of this delay, though it was not her fault. She informed us that the kitchen was short-staffed, with two cooks in training and recent departures. While this explanation sheds light on the situation, it does not excuse the poor dining experience.Furthermore, the atmosphere, particularly the state of the bathrooms, was another letdown. The floors were very sticky, the urinals were coming off the wall, the sink was leaking water constantly, and the trash was overflowing. Despite arriving shortly after 7:15, it was evident that bathroom cleanups before the dinner rush had not occurred. As patrons of a restaurant named TGIF (Thank Goodness It's Friday), we expected more effort to ensure an enjoyable Friday night experience. Regrettably, our visit fell far short of this standard, and we left feeling dissatisfied and disheartened. Despite the challenges she faced, we left a 20% tip for Mirella, acknowledging her hard work and encouraging her not to be discouraged by the circumstances. In summary, our trip to TGIF in Garner, NC, was marred by subpar food, lengthy wait times, disappointing service, and a lackluster atmosphere. We hope that the management addresses these issues to improve the overall dining experience for future guests..

Last year I gave this place 1 star. So little of a 1 star I sent I letter to corporate directly to Kate the issues known. We had been going regularly, and the service and all-around quality declined quickly. I received a response from corporate and went back about 1 month later and experienced an entirely different restaurant. They fixed several issues that were happening, they fixed their beer tap problems and the food came quicker and cooked properly. My wife has sense become great friends with the bartender and we frequently visit with great food and service everytime! If you're in the area, give them a shot as they have made changes recently and are working hard to provide a better all-around experience.
