Just okay, not great. There are so many better establishments that serve real Eastern North Carolina style BBQ. I got the large barbecue dinner, portion sizes were ample. The barbecue pork was good as was the slaw & hushpuppies. For my sides I chose macaroni and cheese and collard greens. I expected the macaroni and cheese to be better as I was there on a Friday and mac & cheese was one of the featured "veggies of the day". It was a bit soupy for my tastes. Was it out of a can? I don't know, possibly, that's the thing, I just couldn't tell if it was real homemade mac and cheese or not. The collard greens tasted reheated, like leftovers, and were mushy. I wouldn't recommend them. I also got a small bowl of the Brunswick stew and it also tasted reheated, not freshly made. We dined in. The staff was very friendly and the food came out very quickly. If you're looking for a cheap mediocre barbecue meal then you won't be disappointed, but just don't get your hopes up.

We had a large family event with food provided by Original Carolina Barbecue. We ordered food based on the number of attendies. The price was excellent and there was a huge amount of excellent food. I could not recommend them more strongly.
Did take out, long line due to holiday, good service at window, pleasant staff, hard working, filled my order quickly.

This is my go to place for southern cooking very tasty bbq chicken and their own bbq and slaw hushpuppies and corn sticks. Collards is one of my favorite. Try them out you wont be let down especially if they have black eye peas green beans and so much more.

I always get fried chicken bbque pork fried orka I ask for only corn sticks but in up with mostly hush puppy I'm not a hush puppy eater..but they always put them in my bag..
