My niece and nephew had dinner with me there and we agree the food was definitely a good deal,Fried okra and collard greens,very tasty but the fried chicken will make up bite your hand off if you don't get it outta the way. Crisp outside, juicy inside and hot from the fry pan, so good. Nephew had a shrimp burger and loved it . Chopped BBQ was worth the money. I'm from Jersey it was good food for a tired driver.
This was my first time here and everything was great. No wait time and our waitress was very nice. They give you plenty of food and it was good. I will be coming back again.

The food never disappoints. I have been going here since I was a kid.
So I’ve drove past this place for a while and noticed the long lines so I decided today to give a try since the line for drive through wasn’t too long.. I will say I was truly disappointed in the food but the customer service was good. I ordered the large bbq dinner w/ yams & collards. The yams were flavorless and the collards were mushy and discolored (not edible), coleslaw was sweetest side in the tray smh…The bbq had a southern home vinegary taste which i liked & the hush puppies were fried to perfection…overall not worth the price or wait..I will not be eating here again

Family friendly. The baked potato I purchased was scorched tasting.Vegetarian options: Nice variety of sides.Parking: Weekdays by far are the best if dining in.
The service was great, very pleased with the people. The food however was okay at best. The collard greens were not warm and the buns were cold. The barbecue tasted like it had been reheated from a grocery store. The potato salad was good and so was the bbq chicken. Probably would’ve much rather had McDonald’s. But if you want food poisoning give this place a try.

I have lived here for over 40 years and never stop there. I finally did and I'm glad I did very nice lady at the register sat me down very night waitress, and good southern barbecue with these breadsticks I've not seen in years and there's not too many barbecue places in the Raleigh area other than the old one downtown that is get ready to move somewhere I guess the city's too expensive but this was a very good restaurant and good food., and clean.

Most of the old fashioned BBQ houses here in Raleigh have closed. These new fangled BBQ houses downtown and around don't have the same quality, quantity, value, true BBQ flavor and taste, nor do they have that down home family friendly atmosphere. And, to be quite honest, they're too boujie! We know because we've eaten at them. Thank goodness for Carolina Barbecue in Garner. This is true BBQ! Nothing fancy, just real barbecue and real people!!!Kid-friendliness: Our 9-year-old granddaughter loves going there!
