My husband and I come in this location multiple times a week. The girls know us by name, food is always consistent and quick and everyone is always friendly. I appreciate this team at this location so much I won’t go to the white oak location because they don’t hold a candle to these girls at the 42 location.

My fiancé and I stopped to get smoothies to start our morning drive which is an hour away in chapel hill. Our smoothies came out wonderful! however we ordered a peanut butter toast crunch; it was so hard and burnt I had to call for a refund. After speaking to an associate, she asked me to bring the food back to the restaurant in order to receive a refund. I explained that I will not be able to come back, but my fiancé would head back over and bring the item with the receipt. The inconvenience of driving 40 minutes back was the most frustrating part. But to add insult to injury she expected me to keep the food items with me all day until able to return to Garner after work. I did not know restaurant and food service code allowed tampered items back but I will comply as per the managers requirements to receive the partial refund.

I’ve been to many Tropical Smoothie locations in NC and VA, and almost all of them honor the military discount on combos, except this one. I’ve gotten the discount here before, but one employee has told me twice now that they don’t allow it. On top of that, this location is consistently one of the slowest I’ve visited. While most of the staff are friendly, the inconsistency in policy and the long wait times make this my least favorite Tropical Smoothie Café.

A regular first stop as a FedEx driver for something good, my lovely folks here take care of me each and every time! Fresh food, great quality smoothie, polite and awesome people! Shoutout to Taylor, Cayden, Tori, & Aliya my friendly people, will always come here to start my day ☺️
