I went here 2/25/22 and the female that works in the front should be fired... I literally heard her say "OMG someone else just walked in. Im ready to go!" Dropped her pack of cigarettes and seemed even more frustrated. When I asked if they had an item she rolled her eyes and said no. I said thank you and walked out. I did not try the food nor will I ever come back. Horrible customer service.

Me and my fiance were visiting out of town and were craving seafood so with a little research of mine I found the walking crab seen the menu and knew we had to give it a try. We were both skeptical but once we got the food in the car the smell smacked us both. My hopes were high went in for a fist pound he said no not yet wait until I taste it. I said ok so when we got home he took his first bite and we was sold as was I hands down best seafood we had in a long time and you can tell it was made with love. Let's just say I got my fist pound and two thumbs up. He was bragging about when we got home like we don't live hours away lol

I spent 58.00 sat and the seafood plates was the worst i every had . There was no season. No garlic butter on the crab legs or the rest of the stuff that comes with that. It was mych.better before they started putiing them in those pans..this was the second time i wasted my money. So i wont eat here again..

I ordered the shrimp taco. It wasn’t much food but the little I had was pretty good. Good thing I had a coupon to get $5 off or I would have been disappointed in the small portion I received.

I order from here on 1/2/22. I could not believe it. The food was HORRIBLE!! I spent 50.00 on food I could not eat. The corn was frost bite as if it was in the freezer for months. The Mac and cheese was precooked and obviously frozen and tasted like cold cardboard. The fish and shrimp was not freshly fried. I was truly disappointed as it was a birthday treat for my daughter. Maybe the establishment is under new management as I have ordered from here before and the food was very good. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone.

Ran into a small technical difficulty on the website (probably user error on my end) and Robert answered the phone and provided excellent customer service. I must say the food is exceptional. Food is full of flavor and is so good. Thank you for such great service and good food!!

Lucky enough to have had their food truck stop by our neighborhood. The workers were extremely friendly and gave good recommendations. Got the lobster, catfish, and chicken tenders. Their portions were plenty and boy was it good.Fries were the sleeper here, they were amazing - almost like Checkers fries. Fried catfish and lobster were fresh and delicious. Seasoning was on-point. Prices were good for the amount of food you get.Plus, they were just friendly folks and who doesn't love to support small business? Can't wait to have them stop by again and next step to check out their restaurant. Highly recommend!

I had them when they came to Florence. I feel in love with their shrimp. It was cooked to perfection. I made the trip from SC to NC twice since then.

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE FOOD!!!! I ordered triple cluster and double ultimate. No shrimp in the double ultimate. The clusters in the triple were very small and overcooked so was the corn, for $55 I expected better. This is my 2nd bad experience not waiting for the 3rd time. I'm done.

I love the walking crab! ? Their food is absolutely delicious. I have had the family meals, crab specials and shrimp plates. It is always fresh and hot. They give nice portions as well. The staff has always been easy to talk to and work with, especially when you have several orders to pick up. Great place!

This was my first time eating here.I ordered online and that process was easy. I ordered the 2 double ultimate seafood platters for roughly a total price of 95.00. The food was good, portions were small for that price. I have had seafood boils before and I was not impressed. It came in a Styrofoam plate. Immediately I said this looks small and the lady worker stated I could look inside the box before leaving… “even tho I had already paid for it online”. I did look inside and again the portion size was small just like I thought. So my next thought was … this food must be amazingly good for this price and small portion size. I get home and again it was ok but definitely OVERPRICED for that portion. Each box had 2 snow crab legs, 2 corn on cob, a few grilled shrimps, sausages (that taste nasty) and several cut boiled potatoes… again small portions and overpriced. To be honest I do not think I will be returning unless price or portions size change for the better. Next time I’ll drive to Raleigh or Cary and try there boils before I pay that price again.

I drove to Red Oak Brewery specifically for the food truck. I had looked online and the menu sounded good. Start time was supposed to be 530...but they weren't ready. The refrigerator had a ratchet strap hanging around it to keep it closed. But that only works if you actually close it, so the door just hung open. Not good. I was third in line and waited over half an hour for a shrimp basket and a shrimp boil. (Noticing all these red flags whole I'm watching and waiting) I paid $30 for edible potatoes and fried shrimp. The corn was both dried out and gross. The boiled shrimp were tough and rubbery. The sausage was questionable as some pieces looked fresh and some looked like they'd been cooked more than once. The potatoes were nice and soft tho, so there's that. As for the shrimp basket, the menu said lightly breaded. It was full on thick heavy coated, but still tasty so I was ok with it. The fries were supposed to be seasoned but that would not have saved them. They were over cooked as well as grease saturated. I'm not sure what the new protocol is for food truck staff to wear masks, but they weren't. The credit card payment process involved handling the machine and using their stylus to sign with no hand sanitizer anywhere. I was beyond unimpressed and will not be back. Wish there was a way to share pictures.

Came in to buy so my mom could try it after I had talked the place up about a year ago. I clocked out for lunch, waited 30+ minutes to order with no line while the cashier repeatedly asked me to wait while she stepped away to give one table food. I Saw 3 other people working in the restaurant nobody could just run the register for 10 seconds or bring the pan instead of the cashier? Then I finally order and then I am informed that the menu is wrong and I'm charged more money? How is that my fault? I waited 40 minutes to order and now I have to pay more money because you displayed the wrong menu? Still didn't want to be that guy. I'm with my CO-WORKER, I offer to pay for her food because I recommended she come try the place and we have pretty much realized we burned our lunch break with no food to gain. Cashier who couldn't stop to serve me then tells my coworker "Girl you better let him buy your food, what you saying no for?" After being serviced by somebody else, 50+ minutes afterwards I received my crab clusters that I paid more than originally stated on the tv menu. The cashier from earlier says to me "now I know you didn't let that girl pay for her own food" excuse me what...? I did pay for it but that's because apparently I ended up making a terrible recommendation. That's none of your business, that's not my girlfriend and It was unprofessional and rude.TL;DR Paid 50+ dollars for an almost hour long wait, got up charged and berated by cashier. Didn't even get a complimentary drink for poor service....

First time here. We were planning on eating in but this place has the same vibe as a 1960's hospital cafeteria. Plus, the staff really acted like it is the last place on earth they'd want to be. So we decided on takeout. We got a 2 cluster snow crab pan with sausage, corn and potatoes and paid extra for some shrimp. The good news is the crab was great, and the shrimp and potatoes and sausage are pretty good as well. For whatever reason, both my wife and I took one bite of the corn and declared it awful. We were in Winston-Salem last weekend and ate downtown at King's crab shack and found it better, cheaper and the atmosphere was lively. Maybe this is why I'm being a little negative on this place.
