Best food between Richmond and Raleigh-Durham. Stop and eat here if you can. Everything we got was super crispy, light, perfectly seasoned, and tasted homemade. The best of the best were the sweet potatoes waffle fries, cole slaw, grilled shrimp, and the fried chicarrons. Service is relaxed and friendly. Would definitely eat here again, the next time we're in the area.

3 stars bc the cajun dry rub wing are, too! SALTY. If they seasoned and breaded their wingettes and legs, thighs, whole wings, and breast, it's on point but it's seasoned, battered, and cooked so well, I think it's from a bag. I can't wait to go back to try other menu items

Wow. What can I say! Great quiet atmosphere, good customer service, and the food is delicious. I had a chefs salad, and my coworker had a rib eye sandwich with fries. They even had milk for my sensitive stomach...we are definitely going back!
Food and atmosphere is always 11/10. Always make a point to stop here when I'm in the neighborhood.

Excellent fresh food, cooked to order. This place is popular with the locals and we can see why. We had the fried chicken lunch special with lima beans and hush puppies. Very tasty! Worth the drive off the interstate. Would definitely come here again when we are passing through.
