We enjoyed the Delicious and SPICY ceviche as well as our excellent service. Nate and Ambi always make sure we are well fed and have an enjoyable dining experience.

My wife and I love this Mexican restaurant is very authentic and the food taste amazing we always go for the carne azada with the fresh guacamole, the michelada with negra modelo is a must. Rosa was an amazing server took great care of us we will definitely return.

Wife and I each had enchiladas..shrimp for me, chicken for her. Both were very good, a bit spicy but not overly. Our server, Rosa, was an absolute delight. The seafood part of the menu is quite extensive. We'll definitely be back.

I know I didn't leave a tip YALL know I didn't leave a tip so glad I kept my receipt because the next business day my card was charged an extra 5 dollars for so. Don't even worry bou it I'm omw back.

I recently learned from Gaston County’s official health inspection report (April 2025) that Agave was cited for a serious food safety violation: they brought food that had already been served back into the kitchen. That’s a violation of NC Food Code (3-306.14) because of the risk of contamination.

Even though it was corrected during the inspection, it really concerns me. This isn’t something that should ever happen at a restaurant. I won’t be returning.

Agave is our favorite Mexican restaurant. Food is always great as well as the drinks. Food is fresh with very generous portions. The service is excellent. My family especially loves the shrimp dishes. Love the margaritas. Their weekly specials and lunch specials are a great value. We highly recommend Agave!

Delicious food and friendly servers! I have celiac, and when I asked about the use of flour our waitress offered to have chips made just for me in a separate fryer. The manager came out to confirm my dietary restrictions and explain their allergy procedures. It was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to trying their other restaurant, Tasty. Thank you!!!

We ordered Agave for a small party last weekend and they were wonderful! They helped me decide what and how much of everything to order, and delivered it on time. The food was delicious, and we had multiple people comment on how fresh the food was! We will definitely order catering from them again!

Agave has recently become our most favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. The first taste of the house Salsa and we were already starting to be hooked. Then the food came and blew us away. Everything we've had there has been exceptionally good. It doesn't just end there though. The staff is the sweetest and most personable staff of any restaurant I've been to in a long time. They make you feel at home and like family, and we are already starting an amazing friendship with them! If you were ever on the fence about checking this place out, let this review be a sign that it's time to go!!! You won't be disappointed!!!
