I am at backyard burger in Gastonia and they have employees inside but no one is answering at the drive thru I went to the window saw 4 people in there working but no one said anything. I honked my horn to see if someone would come to the window. The front door was also locked. The hour of operation say they close at 10pm and is 730pm right now. today is Presidents’ Day but they should at least out up a sign if they are closed and update their website hours.

The WORST customer service I've had so far!! I paid for my food and was asked to pull up and they would bring it out in 3 minutes. 10 minutes later..I got out to go in and get my food and was told that it was still being made. When I finally got my food, the fries were cold and the chicken was under cooked. My total wait time for 1 simple meal was 23 minutes. It was only 2 cars in the drive-thru..

Waited 25 mins for 3 sides (ordered 2 fries and an order of fried pickles). The fries were cold and tasted like old frying oil. It was almost inedible. I don’t know how this place is still open. I bet it won’t be open much longer. I hardly ever see anyone there. Now I know why.

Best burgers for a fast food restaurant in town. I will definitely be back to try different burgers. They've got burgers and hot dogs, and the hot dogs look delicious. The service was amazing and the gentleman that took our order was super nice. Can't wait to try this place again.

We use the drive-thru artificial intelligence ordering experience. The computer captured our order perfectly but the cook left a slice of cheese off of our burger. One of the sandwiches even had some items removed and The special request was picked up perfectly by the computer. The AI got it right but the human got it wrong.

Food is delicious and worth the price. The atmosphere inside is casual, but the cooking smell is prominent and at times overpowering. The entire staff seems offput and doesn't want to be there. You really get the sense of inconveniencing them at doing their job, from ordering to food delivery.

I love BYB, and wish there were some locations near to me. I have missed the blackened burger, and chili cheese fries. Glad to see these still exist, and this location is probably the nicest one I have been in. Food took a little time to be ready, but is freshly made and delicious. Refills on lemonade is also quite nice.
